Apparently, that may be a possibility according to a site on the scene. The fight would take place in Manchester. Supposedly Hatton wants another fight to decide if he should continue fighting or not.

It's a relatively safe fight for Hatton, but stylistically it could be a clinching festival.

Fight Amir Khan for the big British fight, then call it....... If you lose then go and make yourself better in the Maldives for a couple of weeks.

    Read A-Maxx's post again.

It's a comebacking fight for a guy who is trying to seriously consider continuing, it sounds like.

I like Ricky Hatton but he took abit to much punishment in his fights. I wish he had the same punch resistance as he did when he started out, when he had his pound for pound fights, proper gutted for him...

This is sort of like signing a free agent and putting him in the minors to see if he's got anything left. Forbes vs Hatton is an okay fight if that's the case, although I'd prefer it at 140 if anything.

I'd rather see Khan and/or Witter. Forbes is a good start, just to see if he can still do it, confidence wise.

That was the plan before getting sparked by Pac.

Kats has been talking about that fight since.

    Hatton ain't wanting any.
