    Katadis is so underrated too.

I'd pick him to beat Hatton in a great fight.

he can fight C+ fighters for the rest of his career and rack up easy wins and you can say his comeback was successful but once he fights a A+ fighter his comeback will be over.

    Yeah,I know what you mean.

Don't know about beating but he would give Hatton hell at 140 now.

Maybe even beat him but he might get stopped on cuts.

Either way he would give him hell.

Hatton is done, if he takes this fight at 147, I wouldn't be surprised if he got KO'd, especially if there is a good ref for the fight, none of that **** like the Lazcano fight.

Forbes used to be Hatton's sparring partner.

It wouldn't shock me if this is more of a test to see how many of his fans are still around. It reminds me of when Gatti took on Daamgard, almost as a test to see whether people still would show up for him.

Absolutely agreed. Strong insight, I think this is ultimately exactly what you describe, riba.

Forbes would offer residence and it probably would surprise many, but it's still a pointless fight. Clearly Hatton would consider a fight like this because in his mind it would be a low risk high reward proposition.

Forbes hits like a feather, but he is a very skilled fighter and I wouldn't be surprised to see him outbox Hatton for a decision.

....Yer setting me up for something aren't you?:lol::lol:

Anyways I think if Hatton doesn't bring in the same size crowd he did for Lazcano, he'll hang em up regardless of how he looks.

Forbes can beat Hatton. Look at what happened when he fought DLH. Wrong match, he'll make him look bad. Put him in with Kastidis, go for blood and gore.

He could win (Forbes) but this is Stevie Forbes. Forbes and Jameel McCline are two guys who have been sparring partners for so long, they've become pro sparring partners. Forbes will give Hatton a scare but I don't think he'll do enough to win.

Forbes is a bad choice, IMO. Even if he is a light hitter, he's a guaranteed 12 rounds of occasional sharp counters, and workmanlike resistance. Hatton knows he can more than likely outhustle Steve with workrate, but Forbes doesn't tend to flatter his opposition.
