Just seen this video of Hatton training for Pacquiao and I think his punches look less powerful than normal, without the usual snap.

Anything to discredit. Maybe it was Floyd Sr.'s brilliant training that did him in.

Well, I joined this site a bit after the fight, but on another site (before the fight) I did comment that Hatton looked much slower during training camp.

I like it when Ricky Hatton goes "all of a sudden he's Godzilla".

Pac doesn't need help discrediting himself. Every time he makes another semi ******ed stuttering defense concerning his steroid use he does a plenty good job of it. The only way to remove the * from his career is to step up and take the test and then perform well in the fight. The second part of that equation is where the problem lies.

How could anyone discredit this win. The most chilling knockout I have ever seen...and am likely to see at elite level in some years. Incredible. Hatton was just bettered in every single imaginable way. Hatton could have had Ray Arcel, Angelo Dundee, and Eddie Futch all training him at the same time...wouldn't have made a difference.

Like that wasn't expected for Manny to be obliterate Hatton?

I can't remember to many people predicting a 10-7 round to start things off and then knockout of the year in the very next round. If you can't find something to appreciate in this performance from Manny, then there is something severely wrong with you.

    I appreciate it.

An amazing KO victory over the 140lb lineal champion.

The only thing that people didn't expect out of that fight, was to what happened so early. Most people expected that to happen later in the fight.

If I had known Pac had his power still, I would of picked an early KO instead of a late KO.

Honestly I' never new what to make of a ricky sparing video anyways. But its a fair point. The rock star life isn't compatible with being a fighter. Its agrivating how this guy treated his career. That being said I'd say his power on the night wasn't that bad. I'd personally give him credit for landing the second best punch Pac has been hit with north of 130 lbs. Honestly, well never know what he had left in that fight because he got blown out soo quickly. One of the truely worst performances from a top class fighter since Duran got spanked by Hearns. Only problem for Ricky is that he spent so much time partying and not fighting real opponents that only those that care to give him the benifit of the doubt or go based only off skill will refer to him as an elite fighter.
