I'm sorry, I mean that you have most probably been had by all of them ( and HBO) - not in the sense that both Floyd and Ricky don't want to win. However, there may never have been personal issues between Floyd and Oscar, Floyd and Ricky. Ricky is already into another big payday in Wembley regardless of winning or losing now... That should tell a lot about how much weight should one give to their words right now and concerning this fight ( "Floyd will have to kill me before..."). Both are already looking past this fight.

how drained will oscar be at 147 these days? he'll probably gas after about 3 rounds, this is winnable for hatton at 147 simply because oscar will be so weak and has never been one to last the distance stamina wise.

Sure, "boxing is a business". Still, I don't suppose this will take away from their desire to win, even if they have something lined up after this...

Hatton KO 9 with a liver shot as Oscar pounds the floor in frustration.

I wouldn't pay 3 cents to watch that bull****!

I think it's the lowest risk at the highest reward for Hoya and you have to remember that Richard Schaefer already announced that Hoya has an opponent for May the 3rd. That fight only makes sense at 147 pounds and that also makes it winnable for Hatton. I still say Greedy Boy showed stamina against Mayweather and fought particularly hard in the last 4 minutes, end of the 11th and 12th rounds. At least he caught Floyd with two very good shots, a right hand in the last 10 seconds of the 11th and a right hook/ left hook in that final sequence before the final bell.

Agreed. De La Hoya will be much better at 147lbs. Thats has been his natural weight for years, and his power is considerably better as well. Just because he has fought at 154lbs for a few years, doesn't mean to say its his natural weight. He walks around at 152lbs.

Imagine those 3-4-5 punch bursts bouncing off Hatton's bunnet.

Its not De La Hoya's fault he's 5' 11". He's not exactly a full fledged natural light-middleweight like a prime Vargas or Wright. Mosley's physically on par with De La Hoya, even though he's only 5' 9".

If Mosley was fighting Hatton the cries of "Mosley fighting a small man" would not be as full blown.

Watch De La Hoya v Mosley when they fought the second time, Mosley was much thicker than De La Hoya.

147lbs no problem. De La Hoya better watch, as he might get charged with first degree murder.
