Hatton: he just has too much for Hearns.

Speed, power, movement, whatever Hearns can throw at the Brit, Hatton just doubles it and throws it back.

If Hearns can actually manage to land, which is doubtful/impossible given Hatton's elusive qualities, Ricky can take it and make Thomas pay double for it.

I don't see this going past three, unless Hatton toys with him, just to please and entertain the crowd.

Come to think of it, maybe Tommy would have a better chance against "Magic".

Hatton's 65 inch T-Rex reach, compared to Hearns 78 inch, would give Hearns a nightmare on the outside, all night, no mistake.

I think Hearns would win it but a lot of looking at Hearns through rose tinted glasses going on here.Yes he was very good but also beatable. If a guy could hang in there and get inside Hearns they started to give him trouble.I dont think Hatton would be able to impose himself enough though,he needs to be the one setting the pace and applying pressure early in a fight.Hearns has too much skill to let him and would be able to make Ricky walk on to big shots due to the height difference.

If we're talking about the Hatton of the Pacquiao fight, then I'll go with Hatton clear UD. He's too slick to be caught with Hearns' lazy jabs and telegraphed right hands. Hatton slips and slides his way to the inside and lands his crushing blows to the body, breaking ribs and bruising testicles.

To be fair to Hearns he's got a lot of heart so I expect him to survive the 12 rounds, but Hatton is just too well schooled (especially with Mayweather Sr in his corner).

I'm not sure Hatton's chin could take Tommy's bodyshots.
