There is some talk of this fight happening later this year. Who would you pick?

I think Khan knocks Hatton out. I even predicted this before Hatton lost to Pac because Hatton has little skill. He is a face first brawler, he has a moderate punch, but no boxing skills and little defense. He is very easy to hit. Khan meanwhile is a very technical fighter, he knows how to box and move, has good footwork as well unlike Hatton.

Hatton has a punchers chance but even if Hatton KO'd Khan it would be after getting his ears outboxed in the previous rounds. Fact of the matter is Hatton was always overhyped, so I pick Khan by KO in 8.

    hatton by KO.

rickys next potential opponents will be either khan or judah.

and i doubt ricky would want anything to do with zab..

Right now, Khan wins as Hatton is probably 200lbs and guinnessed up to the gills.

As washed up as Ricky Looked in his last fight he still has enough to beat the China Chin Khan, cause the boy just can take a shot and you cant teach taking a punch, and thats something Khan will not be able to do

    Hatton TKO3

apart from the obvious (that is: it's a risky fight for Khan after putting himself back into contention for big money fights), Prescott is fighting Edwin Valero in July at Lightweight.

Plus, Khan AFAIK, is moving up to junior welterweight. If there is going to be a re-match, Prescott probably has to beat Valero and then move up a weight to have a chance of making it happen. Presumably though, if Prescott manages to beat Valero, he'll want to defend his title at lightweight, meaning a re-match with Khan looks a long way off at this point.

On the other hand, it's also a risky fight for Prescott. That win he got is his cash cow. If he took on Khan right now in a re-match, there's a real possibility of losing. People would put his win over Khan as a one-off fluke, and the career goes down the pan. They are probably avoiding each other at this point.

OK, well that's a shame for Prescott. Clearly he's not enough of a 'money draw' yet. In that case, his logical next step should be to chase Khan up to Jr Welter. Even though Khan is after big money fights, he surely hasn't quite proved himself yet.

And Prescott needs to prove his win over Khan was no fluke, 'cos after struggling in his last fight, he has a bit of a 'journey man' tag hanging over his head IMO, which he wont lose until he puts on a good show by beating good opposition. If Valero passed him by, probably the only big name willing to give him a shot at this point will be Khan. So, re-match it is.
