Khan. I rarely say it, but hatton needs to call it a career. He's done man. What i saw against pacman was atrocious.
Hatton will never fight a Brit who can kick his ass. Witter or KHan will just have to forget that one. Rick is a fabrication. I wonder Who they now have the balls to fight? they have overextended their allotment of hasbeens and lightweights. I think its been a good career guys been paid an obscene amount. He is quite lucky and should call it a day.
khan is good, but to say hatton is overhyped when comparing him to khan is a bit over the top. hatton's past his best now, but was the man at 140 for 3-4 years, beat 2 p4p top 10 fighters and won a belt at 147. khan has done what exactly?
I agree he avoided Witter for years even though that would be a HUGE fight. Witter would also beat him.
I would favor Hatton, but think it would be a lot closer than most predict. At this point, you have to wonder how mentally strong and confident Hatton is. He ain't getting any younger, and Khan has pop
Sweet mother of ****, this is getting rediculous, Hatton has something Khan will never have: Fighting instinct. Hatton would crush Khan. Think before posting this **** 1) Hatton still has dangerous KO power and is too big , Khan would be laid out in one, body or head. 2) Khan doesn't punch nearly as hard as Hatton. 3) Hatton is a pressure fighter, Khan can't handle pressure, has been floored every time an opponent has put pressure on him. If not floored, then wobbled or caught easily, by feather fisters no less, Hatton is too experienced, powerful and rough for Khan. 4) Khan is nothing like Pac-man 5) Hatton could still take Khans punches all day, too tough for him, Khan could never even land a punch like Pacquiaos, because for one reason, he never slips and throws, he comes in robotic, terribly one dimensional, for another, he doesn't punch half as hard as Pacquiao. Hatton would counter with a big punch, easily getting through with big shots. Khans terrible defence, weak power, lack of fighting instincts and punch resistance would let him down, KO . 6) A million more reasons.
Bad hypothetical argument, do not quote one point then ignore the rest which directly relate, Hatton is not a Barrera, in terms of power, or aggression, both of which are Khans nightmare. Hatton is a big puncher, Khan needs to walk through an opponents power and score points without getting tangled on the inside, he can't do that to Hatton, end of story. Khans jab cannot keep Hatton at bay LOL, please.
Khan has no head movement, lateral movement, ability to avoid inside fighting, ability to take a punch on the body or head, or inside fighting ability itself. How exactly can he beat Hatton through twelve rounds? Let alone one in Hattons prime :yep Khan so far has faced against fighters smaller than him (most opponents), either past it, lost their punch resistance, arent punchers at all, or sometimes all four (Earl, Gomez, Barrera, everyone else) and Ricky Hatton is big, strong, rough, tough and can punch a hole through Khan. If Khan faces Hatton now anyway, would Hatton be any of the things I mentioned above? So what would the victory prove? that hateres will be haters and never give Khan credit, or that most of his good victories would never have happened if the opponent was actually in their prime/
Hatton has enough gas left in his tank to KO Amir inside 4 . It's about the only fight that would be of interest to fans in this country after his last outing and would then be wise to call it a day
You are a bit of a moron. Sorry no, you just don't have a good boxing brain. 1) Khan has never slipped and countered in his entire professional career. His chin is an easy target, never mind the chandellier factor. Why is that? He never moves it, coming forward or backwords. 2)Prescott wobbled him with the jab and KO'd him with every punch after... Nice argument. Also, Hatton hits just as hard if not harder than Prescott. Hatton is light welter, Prescott is light. Hatton is a big puncher for light-welter, Prescott is a decent puncher for light (go ahead, quote the KO percentages, I dare you). 3) But he couldn't beat him, because Hatton is not a natural bantamweight. He is a big punching light-welter who is built like a tank. Barrera wobbled Khan with the two decent counter-punches he could land through the waterfall of blood trickling through his eyes. Barrera was only a decent puncher at feather, in his prime. Hatton is a different story. Work it out.
Losing the argument? Ever stepped in the ring kid? I'm not saying you need to to understand boxing, but your "knowledge" stinks of a guy who takes boxing and fighting in general as black and white. 1) Stumpy arms? ever heard of in-fighting? What am I saying? Course you havn't, and if you have, you don't know what it is. Head first Amateur appreaoch? You mean Hatton or Khan? At least Hatton can slip once in a while..Hatton does have a jab you ****in twit, you probably don't even know what one is, the technique in which to throw it, the circumstances in which to use it, or what it's purpose is for. Khan does not have great footwork. He does not twist his ankles enough with the punches, he cannot rotate his body based on footwork. He cannot get in and out in time against fighters his own size, nor can he hurt them. He trips over his own feet all the time. He can't close off the ring or escape effectively from live opposition. That is not good footwork. 2)Hatton doesp unch harder than Prescott. Oh my holy good **** you idiot, I said I dare you because I wanted you to, I wanted you to say that. Heres why: Hatton has KO'd guys Prescott never could. Prescott could not hurt Richard Abrile or Toledo ffs, and he's supposed to be a huge puncher? Hatton has fought at and knocked out natural light-welters all his life. Khan can barely stop Michael gomez' and Barrera. 3) Let him smack you in the stomach see how skinny and how much of a midget he is. Too small, because hes natural bantam. Too old, because he was fighting as a pro since he was 15, at flyweight no less, would Khan beat him in his prime? No. Has Barrera ever looked good at lightweight? No. Ever had decent power at lightweight? NO!. Did he rock Khan at lightweight? Big time. Bloody? Yes a clash of heads which should have been ruled a NC, but was called in the fifth, the first after it cannot be called a NC. Was Barrera ever hurt? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA ...No...:tired So tell me, how do any of those points prove Khan is a good boxer? A guy who can thoroughly put a beating on one of his peers? No, everyone believes he would lose to every champion worth their salt out there, not that he deserves a shot at any titles at all. Rediculous... And thats a FACT
