Graham alleges that the £533,000 he recieved for training Hatton for the Mayweather fight was less than what he was due, which was a 10% cut of Hattons purse.

SSN reports that Hatton is asserting that he didn't do his job properly for that fight and did not wrap his hands properly which resulted in Ricky injuring his hands.

Personally, I think that more and more it does seem the case that Betty was right all along about Hatton. I've been a fierce critic of his record and match making over the years which I feel was opportuntistic at the best of times, but I did feel he was a genuninely good guy just trying to make a bit of money.

In the last year with all the dirt that's came out about him I'm starting to review that position. It wouldn't really matter, but the guy has made a fortune off being marketed as a 'peoples champion' and all round good guy and it would appear not to be the case.

What are your thoughts on this development?

Never been a fan of Hatton and tbh this only makes me feel vindicated in my feelings. To start saying Billy didn't wrap hands properly and to say he wasn't up to job....stinks IMO. Bang out of order, pay the man the money he's owed. He done all he could for Ricky from what i saw.

I've always liked Ricky. But I'm with Billy on this. What does Ricky mean didn't do his job properly, did he withhold any of Floyd Sr's purse in that case?

Ricky is really letting himself down here.

Apparently they were so close that they didn't need a contract or anything.

It was a case of Hatton just walking into the gym 12 weeks before the fight and getting down to business.

Just shows, you can't trust anybody :hey

If Graham had really not wrapped his hands properly surely he ought to have bulleted him before the Lazcano fight.

It wasn't Graham that caused him to lose after all..... and the advice he was giving in the corner was very good, Hatton just chose to ignore it and charge in like a looney with his guard wide open.

As Frank Warren said the other night, it's all down to Ray Daddy Hatton. Ricky should over rule him but who does that to their dad really? Hope Billy gets his money.

Well, it was painfully obvious to me, and anyone else who understands boxing, that the only reason Hatton lost to Mayweather was because of badly wrapped hands. Anyone who has ever boxed will tell you that once those hands start swelling it's not long before you're missing wildly with your desperate, lunging punches and charging face first into your opponents counters. Shame on Billy Graham.

Anyway, back to the real world . . . .

Are we to assume that had Hatton of knocked Mayweather out, then he would still have withheld a portion of Grahams wages because of these issues with the hand wraps? Bull****. This is pretty shameful considering how long those two worked with each other for. Remember on one of the 24/7 episodes where it showed the state of Graham's body from the beatings Hatton gave his hands on the pads? ****ing pay the man.

His conduct since the Mayweather, and more recently the Pacquiao loses are that of a severely bruised ego.

    "I don't want to make excuses, BUT . . . . "

Imagine Hatton coming up with those bull**** excuses. Sounds like he'll lose the case and have to give billy that money.

    Mandanda, Nulty...

I share your sentiments. I was a big fan of Hatton until I began seeing through the smoke screens and mirrors after he beat Tsyzu, then I became a fierce critic when he made up ridiculous criteria for Witter to earn a fight against him. He also refused a fight to determine the undisputed Junior Welterweight Champion in 2005 and only fought Mayweather when it wouldn't hurt his reputation and marketability. These were fights that we all wanted to see, and instead we had to endure fights against Collazo and Urango instead.

But I did think he was a genuinely good guy, just an opportunist when it came to match making. However, I now think he was a shameless opportunist in his business dealings as well and screwed over a man whom I believe he owes alot of his success to.

Really gone off Ricky Hatton and hopefully he won't make any more money off his manufactured and false image.

 yeah ramming his head into the mans hard work like that..shameful thing to do..:-(.

Seriously disgusting story, that whole 24/7 you saw Billy put himself through the grinder just to make sure Ricky had his full attention. He loved Ricky like a son..
