Prime for prime. Who takes it, and how?

Assuming Brazier doesn't clam up too much, he should be much too skilled for Ricky Hatton and win a close decision, pretty much sweeping the second half of the fight after Ricky does well in the initial stages with his aggression and body punching.

harold takes this using his ring smarts harold is good when he steps side to side and uses his stunning body punches en route to the side movements i think ricky does not last 5 rounds with the swifter more experienced and cagier fighter in harold:yep:think

Hatton by lopsided decision.Hatton is too fast, too strong and too busy.these are the kind of guys hatton beats easily. The kind of guys hatton had problems with are floyd and manny.i've seen brazier fight quite a few times and i remember him as durable and solid, but nothing real special.Hatton impressed me.he was fast, strong, explosive, and dynamic.then on top of that he went head to head with tszyu and stole his heart.brazier was about as good as juan lascano and hatton chews guys like that up on his off nights, sick with a chest cold.

I think Hatton would win a decision. He'd outhustle Harold, but would take quite a few shots. Brazier is the better defensively, but just wouldn't be busy enough.

People questioning whether Brazier was quick enough should watch him nullify the speed of Roger Mayweather and Meldrick Taylor.

People questioning whether Brazier is busy enough should watch his fight with Micky Ward. He was throwing 80-90 punches per round in that fight against a guy trying to rip to his body all night.

Don't judge the man on the Whitaker fight.

Brazier was a good fighter, but he was just below top-level. He always found ways to lose to the best guys, and this fight would be no different. Harold would give Ricky hell, but he would be outhustled. Hatton was a bigger puncher and much busier than Harold.

So did Ricky - when he wasn't facing fighters past their used-by dates that is...

Can i also judge him by his Chris Mazzola, Mario Cusson, kel Robin Lloyd Honeyghan, Brian Baronet, Juan Martin Coggi, Livingstone Bramble (im not including the names of guys he lost to after the age of 34 just to be nice..and most of those he lost to prior to 30)

but of course Hatton never beat anyone on the level of those guys.....Tzyue was so old he was way below them:yep as was Collazo, and Urango.....and Tackie....all far worst then anyone Brazier ever fought.

Sure you can, if your main source of knowledge is boxrec :good

An old Tszyu is the best fighter Ricky ever beat, and beyond that, probably an old Castillo. He's hardly got a stellar resume when you get down to the circumstances of his victories.

dude Harold would lose to hatton...now **** off...whats next..hatton now loses to 80 year old woman?

and yeah i have only seen a bit of Brazier..i looked him up and found boxrec and his videos on youtube...wasnt impressed with either on a world class level.

again....any of the guys hatton fought after tszyu where better then all the names i listed.

To Johnstown i think you underrated Braizer, yey he was on a journeyman run for a while and lost his share of fights but at his best(see fight with Roger Mayweather that could have gone either way) he was world class and hed give Hatton some trouble but i agree Hatton is just too much here and would win competetive but convincing decision.
