JMM in a lopsided UD for me.

Hatton has never fought tricky skilled fighters and succeeded - the first one he fought was PBF and he got blasted in that fight. Even if it happened at LWW and in England Hatton just wouldn't be able to match JMM's speed and skill.

His defences are very vunerable to a counterpuncher; JMM's very flexible and can fight aggresively and responsively as required. Hatton just doesn't have the slickness required to take on someone like JMM.

Diaz and Hatton have very little in common. Hatton's attack is very reliant on the quickness of his feet. He jumps straight in and attacks at mid-close range with half-hooks and straight rights. Diaz throws punches from all angles but is a lot more flat-footed than Hatton. He is a lot better at blocking punches and I'd say his overall defense is far greater than Hatton's.

Come on mate, read the script. You think Cotto and Pavlik are going to look like world champs next month? i doubt it, scrub the first one off. As for Malignaggi fight, were you watching?? He looking ****ing fantastic.

Slightly harsh to say he looked OK against Paulie. He looked best to his best really. He was sloppy in the Lazcano fight and since bringing Mayweather in he has gotten rid of a few bad habits, for example,he is moving his head more now.Even so,he is still not the most elusive fighter around so makes for an exciting fight.

Maybe a blessing in disguise that the Pac fight is off(if indeed it is off/won't happen in the future)

ok then hatton walks straight through marquez who turns out to be powderpuff at 140, tosses and manhadles marquez around and roughs him up on the inside and if marquez does a number on diaz it means absolutley **** all because diaz is a small fat lightweight, while hatton is a big solid light welterweight and they both have bothing in common whatsoever as fighters and stylewise.

depends how hatton can handle jmm's punches..
But I have to go with hatton on this one.. JMM isnt fast enough to move away from hatton and away from his clinches.

This a perfect fight for Hatton, challenging someone who is much smaller than he is . Ever so typical and predictable.

The one straight right that paulie threw nailed hatton.

I can see marquez having success landing lead rights and hooks. If he does not get tagged hard he will take a ud or with his luck an sd

We have now seen how JMM handled Diaz.
Diaz pressured JMM early but was consistently countered and JMM couldn't miss with the uppercut when he started to throw it.I see a fight with Hatton going similarly and Hatton either being stopped between rounds 10-12 or a comfortable UD for JMM.Anybody have different thoughts based on JMM/Diaz??

I'd now take JMM to win on cuts.

I want this fight to happen regardless of the outcome of Pac/Hatton.

    JMM takes this on points.

You don't think Marqeuz would be able to counter Hatton's come forward style enough to slice Hatton's face to shreds? Did you see Ricky's face after the powderpuff-punching Malignaggi fight?

hatton is a class above juan diaz. but i will still take jmm via a decision in this fight. being p4p #2, jmm is just at a higher class and talent-level compared to hatton. being the much bigger and stronger man will allow hatton not to be KO'd by jmm.
