Hatton without too much trouble imo. Reckon he,d have bullied witter. Both guys a nightmare proposition for each other with witter probably being the worst style for hatton out of the two. But hatton was the better fighter. He showed against better fighters that he could impose his style succesfully on good opponents/tricky opponents.

Hatton, although prime Witter causes him some problems.

I'll buck the trend and say Witter. Yes he was often stylistically awful but he was a tough, elusive nightmare for most. I think he had enough about him to keep Hatton at distance and would even have an outside chance of picking him off when Hatton came charging in.

My feelings are somewhat swayed by Hatton's seemingly overstated reasoning for avoiding him. I've no issue with him chasing a Mayweather fight instead of course. But all the 'Witter is boring; if he was fighting in my garden I'd close the curtains' stuff didn't really stack up long term. You have to ask why, when there was real potential for a domestic clash with Witter WBC champion, Hatton opted for Lazcano.

Took the **** out of witters movement and switch hitting boring rah rah rah

Can't gush enough about how tricky and awkward and the movement of the low output fury is lol
Witter would have made Hatton look stupid
The ratio of ingle fighters beating Warren's stable is quite astounding

    Hatton all day.
Witter was awkward but he liked to rest and pose in rounds. He had decent power but it was a touch over rated. He couldn't stop chop chop, Lynes or Kotelnik. Yeah he decked N'dou which was something and he stopped Harris but he was already on the way down.

Hatton wouldn't have let him pose, he wouldn't have let him try to change stance to switch hit. Hatton would have been in his face mauling him around and sapping the body. There wasn't much between them in terms of footspeed and Hatton was much stronger and probably punched harder as well.

    All opinions just like arseholes

He was not willing to prove it
He was not as confident as you all are hed win

British title wasn't good enough for wicky
The WBC title wasn't good enough for wicky
Hell he didn't even want to win bragging rights
Which he used to brag alot
Seems weird eh or was it a Khan mentality to fragile to take a loss to a fellow country man

Witter never shyed away fro it wicky did many times
And is now and admirer of the technical art which he once called boring
    Ummm

Thought you was on about fury
Awkward likes to rest and pose through rounds with decent but overrated power
Ricky is an admirer wasnt back in the day but is now
Convenient or he realises the effectiveness and now classes it as great boxing

Damn now you're bringing back memories.

I remember Witter constantly calling him out; even then in his pomp, Hatton's reasons for avoiding him seemed lame as Witter was anything other than a boring fighter.

A Hatton win, but only after being made to look very wild and unpolished for the first half until his relentless gas tank and output slowed Junior down.

    Hatton ud

Would’ve been a crap fight with lots of holding and Hatton getting his hand raised for being more aggressive. Glad it didn’t happen to be honest

Hatton was the better fighter no doubt. Stylistically though, was Witter wrong for him?
