lets just say that they can fight each other 'fairly' in terms of weight, Ken takes it no doubt in my mind whatsoever.
I think Hatton would get stopped on cuts late in a 15 round fight. If not, a pretty wide gap in the scorecards. At his best, if allowed a few things, Hatton could make it rough for Ken for at least a while, but he always loses as I see it.
Hatton has never made 135 as a pro and weighs 155 on fight night. At 140 either Buchanon on points or Hatton by late KO, 20lbs is allot of weight to give up
Someone on here (might have been PhillyPhan?) once described Buchanan as 'highland silk', great nickname. Im a big admirer!
Theres a huge difference in this fight between the two men, one would box, and box brilliantly, and the other can't. This wouldn't even be close.
It would be a better nickname for Ken if he was actually from the highlands, but alas, he's not, he's a lowlander.
Ken can weigh in at 135 and Hatton can weigh 155 on fight night and I'd still pick Buchanan on points.
Are you kidding about who would win? Buchanan would totally outclass Hatton. Ken would make Ricky look like an amateur.
Buchanan would stop him on cuts by 11th/12th. Hatton's poor defence against Buchanan's movement around the ring would ultimately mean that each round would be controlled by the Scotsman. Even if the fight isnt stopped on cuts, Buchanan wins by ridiculously large UD
Hatton would be too weak at 135, but at 140 he would have a great chance in a 12 rounder. Maybe if it was scheduled for championship rounds, Ken could come on strong to win a razor thin decision 8-7.
