That was at 147 you donut, thats not prime 140 Hatton is it?

Seriously though, Maidana isnt on Hattons level, he hasn't shown anything close to that and he would lose either by stoppage or on pts.

Hatton in his prime had enough to outbox and or stop maidana. The only variable that cud change that wud be his chin.

Idiots, and yet you are picking Maidana to brutally KO a peak Hatton with one punch? I'm not even a fan of Hatton but he deals with Maidana all day long. Hatton is far more skilled when it comes to pressure and inside game and physically much stronger. Hatton would beat the **** out of Maidana inside or out and break him down by round 9 or 10.

And for the record, peak Hatton took punishment off Kostya Tszyu. Maidana does NOT hit harder than Tszyu.

Regardless he was facing a B level fighter who is not really known for his power.

When was prime 140 Hatton anyways. He has looked terrible in almost every fight i have ever seen him in except Malignaggi and against a shot Castillo.

You know he did have a great chin.

It's easy to say, but it was before he crossed the pond, really. He was a ****ing monster. He should've never stepped up to WW, ever. He's like a ****ing raptor, 147 is no place for him.

What is it with people talking about Hatton's chin? A prime Hatton took some of Tzysu's best shots. Maidana, while a hard puncher, is overrated in the power department and Hatton could take some of his best shots. Not to mention Hatton is physically stronger, better on the inside and is much more fleet of foot. A prime Hatton is underrated, and Maidana is overrated. Hatton wins.

I think prime Hatton gets a UD. Inside work would **** with Maidana.

Exactly. While he was facing B and C level domestic fighters. Once he came over to the big leagues he just showed he wasnt great. I remember all the hype he was getting then i finally saw him against Collazo and i was in shock of how simple he was.

He was **** against Collazo and at 147, it was very far removed from the normal Hatton of which you are obviously ignorant and clueless about

Put it this way, the Hatton that fought KT, 100% beats Maidana by either stoppage or decision

Maidana struggled with Kotelnik ffs, and he wasnt that impressive against Ortiz really (both of who Hatton walks over)

The Khan that just beat Maidana loses to that Hatton aswell, to good at closing off the ring, one of the best at it.

I don't think so. He should never have fought Collazo. He's not a welterweight, that and it might be excuses but he's terrible for illness in fights. He's still a brutal bodypuncher, sure Castillo wasn't at his best but that was a knockout blow right there. Hatton was the big league in the Jr. Welterweight Division, and for a long time. No one should ever forget that. The only remnant of it that survived was Urango, and we all know what happened to him.

How many fighters did Hatton beat who were considered as dangerous as Maidana is?

I doubt it. A prime Hatton actually had a decent chin especially against Tszyu, definitely better than Khans.
Maidana doesnt come out for the 10th.

I think Hatton would bully Marcos on the inside and when he wanted he could stay on the outside. Hatton UD
