    Oh?

Did the public know "what's up" before the Mijares/Darchinyan fight as well?

    Mayweather HAS power though.

    Malignaggi doesn't.

A fighter doesn't always need power to defeat his opponent. Having power is no guarantee of a victory. Jeff Lacy has plenty of power.

Good post. Look at winky wright. He owned tito and Winky only uses the jab

No way in hell hatton stops Paulie. No way, this poll is full of garbage predictions.

    8-4 Paulie

Nobody believed mayweather could knockout hatton. ALMOST EVERYONE who made predictions (besides ultimate floyd nuthuggers) said Floyd UD or Hatton KO.

Ya...I expected the polling to be a lot closer.

If Malinaggi looks like the Malignaggi of '06-07, then he'd be easily ricky's toughest test outside of Floyd.

this is at 140, where hatton is a beast even on his worst night. i think he should be able to walk thru paulie's punches and even tho he's not as flashy as paulie, hatton threw some pretty quick hooks with power behind them in his earlier days at 140, so i think he can match him speedwise too. paulie displayed some heart vs. cotto, i think he can handle hatton's power as well. hatton despite his size is pretty strong and aside from that uses leverage behind alot of his shots like few fighters that i've seen i hope he never stops doing that. hopefully paulie will make it competitive because i think his only chance would be to counter hatton's bullrushes coming in or else hatton is gonna steamroll him, which would be nice. lets go manchester mexican!:happy

Man some of you need to stop thinking lame boxing theory and look at what actually happened. If you study how the fight went down though, Floyds 'power' had absoloutely NOTHING to do with it. How often did you see Floyd 'stop' Hatton coming in with punches? 0. He Controled the fight but hitting him as he was coming in then changing the angle, and when Hatton did get in he stopped him from being effective with strategic grappling. This is what Paulie needs to do. It will depend a lot on how the fight is refereed, and if Paulie can impliment a smart strategy he can certainly beat Haton. None of you have a crystal ball and writing off Paulie is silly. There are a lot of question marks surrounding BOTH fighters and anything could happen. Both have displayed lackluster form of late. Hatton got a gift decision to Collazo and was made to look ot of his class by the only other slick world class fighter hat he's fought. Hatton blocks punches with his face, that is a fact, Paulie gloves will be hot with friction from landing on Hattons face, in inescapable. Paulie won 4 or 5 rounds against Cotto, more than anyone has besides Margarito. He is not to be underestimated.

I have said it a million times - this will be the easiest fight for Hatton since his WBU days.

Paulie brings absolutely nothing that can trouble Hatton, pitter patter punches don't do anything to him, you need good power and accurate punching - not girly slaps.

tend to agree, although you're maybe going a bit over the top. anyone comparing paulie to mayweather though is taking the **** surely ?different planet .

I have seen Paulie's last two fights and he lost both, close but clear.

If you get the same Hatton that fought Mayweather, he destroys Paulie - if you get the Lazcano version, he grinds out a wide UD.

Unless he is totally shot, easy night.
