hatton by wide decision or late stoppage.this is one of the routes that hatton could have taken instead of fighting the mayweathers and pacquiao's of the world and remained undefeated longer.but hatton wasted a good portion of his championship years fighting less accomplished and older fighters over in england.i would rather have seen him clean out the division before fighting the bigger fights but he had only so much time left in his career to make the most of.it would have been a fun fight partially because of spaddy's and hattons large fallowing and a fight hatton would almost surely win.less fun for spaddy fans though.:bbb

For all people denigrate Hatton, you still needed to have some pop in your punches if you had any hope of beating him. The Malignaggi fight serves as the template for what Hatton could do when faced with a fighter who didn't have anything to keep him off of him, and the Dorin fight showed that a swarmer could have success against Spadafora once he got inside.

    Hatton, wide UD.

Hatton would not have much trouble in this fight.
