Ricky Hatton vs Paul Williams

    Hear me out. Paul Williams is widely seen as the man to UD Floyd but most would say Ricky would not stand a chance against the gangly Williams. Margarito did not possess the speed to KO Williams and was too tired by the time he caught up with the Punisher. Would Hattons pressure and body attack get to Williams? Possibly so. Either way it would not go the distance!

    I read the question wrong. I voted for Williams, but I meant that he would be the winner.

    Williams beats Hatton

    Williams is all wrong for Hatton in every way. Williams by mid-late round TKO.

    williams is all wrong for just about anyone right now.....his style size and punch volume is gonna be tough to beat

    Williams does not possess the greatest chin and doesnt like body attacks. i would be intrigued by this matchup, sorry, freakshow. Hatton has speed and power albiet in a small package

    Hatton would struggle to get inside and he would get picked off coming in. Hatton doesn't have the power to really seriously hurt Williams at 147.

    Probably because a lot of people here hate Margarito. It doesn't help that Tony claimed he won the fight.

    margarito landed some flush over hand rights and uppercuts without hurting him, and margarito is a huge welter.

    Agreed. I don't see Hatton could ever get inside Williams' reach.

    I honestly thought he had Williams hurt on a couple of occasions but maybe i need to watch the fight again

    Hatton at 5-7 would have a helluva time reaching the 6-1 Williams and how's he gonna get inside without eating the jab??
