I don't think Williams would KO Hatton, but I think it would be a stoppage on cuts. If we are talking only a KO and not a TKO then I suppose it might be Hatton via a miracle shot. Otherwise it's all Williams.
How did Hatton get so many votes. I mean, why post on a boxing site if ya dont know much about the sport?
now people are making paul williams out to be the 'monster juggernaut' which he really is not, if he beats pbf is pbf also overhyped?
So you think Williams has almost no chance of KOing Ricky? More people polled seem to think Williams gets Ko'd over Ricky. Or they didn't read the poll carefully. I personally think this one goes the distance.
I don't see William as some monste , unlike Margarito who was suppose to be to strong , and too big for anyone to handel .. William is just a tall welter who happens to be south paw with a 80 inch wing span that can box. many Margarito fan where saying the margarito strenth and pressure would be enough to KO williams which was far from correct. Margarito had been out boxed before, by conventianal fighters , like santos , clotty and Rodney Jones,, all proved that Margarito needs have his guy infront of him to be effective , give Margarito angles and he's lost . you will also notice the people that are over hyping Paul are dye hard margarito fans , no one else is toting williams as the man at welter like they were margarito .
Hatton's too small. It's why Hatton's team is leary about fighting at WW, but they said Mayweather is an exception since he's not an exceptionally big WW anyway. There's a big difference when it's a 6'1 guy with a wingspan longer than Wladimir Klitschko who enters the ring unofficially above the middleweight limit.
I didn't know he was ? I did read a couple of post where he thought Williams south paw style would give floyd problems , but then again what south paw has not given Floyd problems?:think
the thread starter got me the same way, how many voted for paul thinking who the winner would be, but turns out its who gets koed. paul would beat hatton, to much of a size difference i think.
I think Hatton would get the beating of his life if he faced Williams. Williams has all the advantages in this fight. Williams has the height, reach, speed, and I also think he has the power advantage over Hatton. Hatton also has trouble over southpaws. Williams throws over 100 punches a round and Hatton is not a counter puncher. Williams is a big Welterweight and Hatton is a really small Welterweight. Williams also boxes and uses the whole ring during a fight. If this fight ever happen I think Williams would KO him in 6 and Hatton would retire after that fight.
