3 rounds in the first fight isn't enough to warrant a rubber match, imo.

Nobody has ever stopped Munroe - not even Nishioka.

...and that's the real Nishioka, not the toothless old coward who jobbed to Donaire.

Munroe's passion for the sport isn't same anymore that it used to be.. Remember how disappointed he was after Nishioka fight? He was crying there

As paulie said: Quicc looked like a man who wanted it more

Maybe not, but on the two nights it looked like a completely different match-up. Munroe was not only in it back in June, he was getting the better of it. Tonight he was never in it, after the 1st.

The complexion of both meetings and stark contrast between them cuold just create enough intrigue to wonder "hey, what if..."

Still think Frampton beats Quigg. He does everything better that him but Quigg would have quite a big size advantage.

    Rendall never quit. :nono

Granted, he stupidly rode the count too long when O'Connor was already keeping a close eye on him after the wind-sucking reaction to the previous knockdown (and how closely the second followed on its heels) - but he clearly had every intention of going back at it and would've fought on if allowed...and probably gone out on his shield.

The only quitter so far tonight is Foster. :verysad

Quigg stopped boxing, and started sitting on his shots after the 3rd.He obviously knew he was getting to Munroe, and this stoppage shouldn't be dumbed down,Munroe is no bum.

    :good

It was a brilliant shift in tactics. He could've stuck the jab all night en route to a no-bother UD, but saw the opportunity to close the show on the big stage and took it, having faith in his body work.

Very impressive from Quigg. Seems like a really likeable lad too. Hopefully the promoters can stop being petty and get the Quigg/Frampton bout together.
