    If you meant vCash, don't worry. The vBookie thread here on ESB was created as "Over/under 9.5 rounds" (because that's what stupid Oddschecker had listed at the time earlier in the week, even though it was always a 10-rounder) - so because it didn't enter the 10th and final round, let alone reach the halfway point...for our purposes it was Under. :thumbsup

    No real shame in losing tonight for Hatton. He thought he still had it after 3 years out, gave it a go and found out it wasn't there anymore. Better doing it that way than not and always wondering if he could still have done something. The way he was speaking afterwards was a bit worrying, he seemed in denial as if he felt he was doing well until the stoppage. Hopefully he doesn't carry on after this.

    I think the biggest problem was simply taking on too much of an opponent too soon. There was just no way the conditioning was going to be there for Hatton. The technique left him as well though, to be fair. Lots of ring rust.

    He probably should have taken an easier fight. Eased himself back into boxing against a tomato can or something, no one would have slated him for it. Either way, wish him all the best.

    Nobody else would have been away from the ring for three and half years and come back and fought a champion of 1 year ago

    And maybe thats the damning thing here, it was madness to take such a fight
    But brave of Hatton

    No I think he was being realistic about his performance. He didn't say I was doing great but what he did say was I was winning and a lot of the ugly stuff was mostly down to ring rust which I would have expected.

    I thought he was stupid taking this fight. Looks like Hatton is on the **** again.
    But on a positive note for Hatton do your math...

    20.000 x £50.00 (average) = £1000000 + primetime buys = Happy days.......

    So Hatton lost 70 pounds in 10 months, right?

    That's a good 25-30 pounds too many to shed in a healthy manner in that period of time.

    Exactly. Let's be honest. Most comebacking fighters would have fought a tomato can, or at best a low level journeyman. And, frankly, that's probably what Hatton SHOULD have done.:yep

    Anyone doubts Sevchenko was brought to lose ?
    He looked like he had AIDS for the first five rds.

    I could respect Ricky if he had taken his comeback seriously and been realistic about his capabilities.
    If he can't be arsed to train for a 8 rds fight, and wants to have a "name" for his comeback just to massage his inflated ego, why feel sorry for him ?

    Don't like to cheer for yet another british fixed fight.

    Enzo Calzaghe said this wouldnt go well and refused to attend the fight
    And unfortunately he was right
    3 and a half years and then fight a former champ
