Well it doesn't have to be PPV, does it? Or are you saying Hatton vs. Senchenko alone makes this worth PPV money?

The other three bouts make for a perfectly good Sky Saturday (or excellent FFN) card, which is what this ought to still be anyway.

Honestly, I'd forgotten that Primetime is PPV for you lot and not free to air.

Doesn't much matter to me, don't pay a jot either way. :D

Come on IB, you know better than that. You seem to have some utopian view of the boxing world where only the significance of a matchup should be take into consideration. Boxing does not, and probably never has, worked like that.

It IS all about the star attraction. Doesn't matter in this country that Ricky has been out for more than three years and Senchenko isn't particularly special. Hatton is such a massive star that him making a comeback is bigger news than fights like Burns/Mitchell. Hatton sold more than 10k tickets before an undercard or even an opponent was announced. That's how big a deal this is.

Don't think anything like this besmirches the name of the sport any further, enough **** happens in this sport anyway. If you take the Hatton fight off the card it would get a fraction of the TV audience it will tonight. PPV or not.

it's the way it is for logistical reasons. ricky's name's top on the poster cos he's selling the tickets...ricky's on last cos if you put him on earlier the arena would be empty for the fights on after him.

where a fight is on the card isn't an sporting thing...it's a business thing.

Quigg should take this, then move on to Frampton and get KO'd by the Irish Mike Tyson.

I'm more interested in Quigg/Munroe than Hatton. Hope Rendall gets the win.
