Round 3

Quigg is backing up a few steps and then swooping down to set traps for Munroe with left hooks and scything right uppercuts to the body. Munroe is coming forward, blocking jabs and leaping in with right hooks to the guard. All of Munroe's combinations are blocked coming forward. Nice left hook above the hip by Quigg. Munroe gets in a jab through the gloves. Quigg shoves him off and lands his own jab. Low right hand by Quigg, almost too low. Double jab by Munroe, and a big ball-and-chain left downstairs. Quigg squats, quickly hooks the body, and backs out. Nice tight movement by Quigg, staying at arm's length. Quigg is in control, boxing behind the jab and letting Munroe lead. Stray right hand shooting upward from Quigg is ducked, but he's able to reposition before Munroe can retaliate, dodging his spray of counter blows.

Round 4

Quigg is landing left hooks to the body and jabs to the moving head of Munroe. Lots of bouncing around on the way in by Munroe, twisting in from either side but still getting caught. They trade jabs from outside as Munroe chases. Left hook to the body by Quigg. Fake-out to the left and a quick move right by Quigg. Munroe comes wailing in with low lefts and high rights, but Quigg maneuvers his guard around to block wherever there's inbound mortar. Nice stiff jabs by Quigg from outside, piercing through Munroe's guard. Heavy shots to the body by Munroe, a left and a right hook clapping either side.

Round 5

Quigg is hooking the body from outside, staying low with his hands up tight around his face. Munroe is pushing forward, trying to reach past Quigg's gloves with a batting right hook. Munroe has to twirl every time he moves in, with Quigg constantly moving around him. 1-2 by Quigg. Double left hook downstairs by Quigg. Munroe fires a sloppy pair over the top, parried as Quigg steps to the side. Nice ducking and weaving inside by Quigg. Jab to the face by Quigg. Munroe dives in with a few uppercuts, head down, landing a couple. Sharp jab to the face by Quigg, backing up and turning his forearm over to catch Munroe's counter jab.

Round 6

Quigg is putting up high jabs and incisive 1-2's to the body from outside. Munroe is dropping his arms, and getting caught with crosses to the face coming forward. Nice jab woven in between the gloves by Quigg. Uppercut from outside by Quigg, falling short as Munroe leans off. Jabs to the guard by Quigg. Double jab by Munroe, building into a piston combination, all blocked. Quigg is keeping his guard up tight, and countering with sharp jabs and left hooks to the body. Munroe DOWN from a body hook!! He is up at seven.. BIG RIGHT HANDS UP TOP AND LEFT HOOKS DOWNSTAIRS BY QUIGG!! Munroe down again!!! He takes the count to eight and begins to rise but Terry O'Connor waves it off.
