I find it very hard to believe that coke binge was a one-off incident.

I like Hatton but this is a crock of ****.

He was on the beak LONG before the pac fight.
I know a friend (mutual) who suffered from GENUINE depression. Hatton rang him up, AFTER the drugs scandal in the NOTW and asked how he got over his depression. Said friend told him, I quit drinking. Getting my head straight srted me out. The next 3 nights Hatton went and got smahed and was backon the beak.

This (IMO of course) is just another ploy to get back into the limelight.

Lots of time for him of course however i'm not over keen on him pulling out the 'Near Suicide' card.

In my experience most times if a bloke is genuinely suicidal then he does it rather than "nearly" does it.

A quite blatant attempt at grabbing some column inches by the egoistical ****. Made front page of the BBC Sport website as opposed to the Europa League this evening so he achevied what he'd set out to.

Echo people's thoughts here. Wish he wouldnt be such a ***** about the drugs. He did them. So ****ing what. He was a binge drinker long before he was depressed.

Geez, I used to live in hyde and it was commonly known that Ricky used to get bang on it but my point, as my previous posts said (even though I did some comedy out-takes with it) is that he cant come out and say he was on it for years.
He already got enough **** for being up the new inn etc drinking the black stuff between fights. He'd be a fool for admitting the lot. See where I'm coming from?

That's the old chicken and the egg question. People with depression often turn to drink and drugs on the other hand long term drinking and/or drug use can cause depression in person who isn't depressed.

Also people who suffer with clinical depression go through phases some worse than others. It possible to depressed your adult life just to varying degrees at different times.

Good thing this con man managed to bank tens of millions of pounds swindling the British public defending his WBU belt for almost a decade or else he would be in real trouble.

Nah man, you got to remember back in the day, rickys fights were the same as Calzaghe's WBO fights etc WBU or no WBU, casuals knew that it weren't the big one but it was boxing and it built up to the Tszyu fight. Then bingo, happy days. We know he's no SRL, he didn't con anyone.
Name a better LWW when he beat Tszyu?
