Robinson and Armstrong head and shoulders above. Then De La Hoya, Cuevas, Hearns, Leonard, Sweet Pea and I wouldnt turn my nose up at putting PBF in that bracket!

Why all the hate for hatton? And why from so many british fans?

Is it because he has a lot of fans that aren't "real" boxing fans and they support him without questioning their support for him? Is it because he seems like a politician looking for votes when he plays up the man of the people thing? Is it because he has ducked an opponent who is a bad style match up for him? Or is it because of some british inferiority complex that (like the ***** inferiority complex) forces brits to viciously attack and denounce one of their own when they precieve that other fans (specifically american fans) don't like something about that fighter because they feel that by cutting up their own fighters they will be more accepted by other fans?

All I know is that every British fighter that comes over here is loved by half the fans in his country and viciously hated by the other half. You watch it will happen to Haye too.

Maybe our rankings differ, as people would to do for me to be a P4P great than a great at their own weight. At WW he's beaten everyone put in front of him. Looked unbeatable (except for in the De La Hoya fight) and looks a cut above everyone he hasnt fought. Cotto would be a scar on his CV if he doesnt face him, but I seriously cant see him getting beat!

As for my Duran comment... I stand by it. Hatton DOES fight like Duran. I'm not saying he's as good as Duran but does have the same style

Well Hatton doesn't help himself with the shitty excuses for not fighting him. But why should Hatton worry about those British people who are in a 0.2% minority.

there are some minor aesthetic similiarities, such as the in your face aggression. but duran at his peak was 100x more skilled a fighter hatton is. there not even on the same planet.

    Good post. :good

Every fighter out there is ducking someone. Every fighter out there takes a tune up after a big loss. Every fighter has lines like "I'll fight anyone" or "I would have won but" that they try to sell you on. So please you fickle bitches stop all the hypocrisy!

Agreed! But not my point. Hatton is good to watch because he aggressive, will never take a step back and will always look for a KO... like Duran.

    No more than that.

Duran is a legend. Hatton is one of the best British fighters of all time. No comparison in ability. Plenty of comparison in style

I don't think he does worry about them. But they sure like to start threads on boxing forums.

I do cut him a break on blaming the ref for the loss. Not that I think he's right but because its not easy for fighters to be honest with themselves when they lose. It happen's all the time. Just ask duran what happened in the SLR II fight and you get some speal about him being promised a rematch or something. You will NEVER anything even remotely close to I got beat by the better man out of duran. So why expect it out of Hatton?

Im a boxiung fan. I dont care where fighters are born or what they do. I just want to see the best fight's.

As a boxing fan, a fan of the sport i cannot be remotely pleased that Hatton vs Lazcano has sold 45k tickets in one day.

I cannot sit there and listen to Hatton tell pleople live on TV that the IBO is a well respected org amongst boxing fan's, and that Lazcanos no.4 ranking is something to be admired. Especially when the guy wont have boxed for over 15 months and lost his last fight, plus is 33 years old and a blown up lightweight.

Lazcnao is an abolsute nobody over here.

What hope is there for true boxing fan's when 45,000 people will buy tickets to watch Lazcano in one day?

What hope is there for Witter who has been calling out Hatton ever since he fought Judah?
