As long as Hatton talks BS people will expose it.

Especially British fans who want him to fight Ring Magazines no.2 140lber and WBC champion. A man who true fans of British boxing have wanted to see Hatton fight ever since he fought Judah.

I cringed last night listening to him brag about 45,000 ticket sales in one day, his adoring fans and his hype of the IBO org and Lazcanos No.4 ranking. :patsch

I've been here leading up to a lot of fights friend. And the build up before his fights is not that much different then the build up for fighters like Floyd or DLH. Unfortunately, the spiteful hate is no different either.

Don't make me out to be a Hatton basher mate.

I'm a BS basher, and will bash any fighter who speaks it.

And last night Hatton spoke a heap of the stuff. :D

I created this tread because of Hattons speach last night.

If he takes a fight with Witter i'll create another one praising his pale arse! :good

Until that day comes, as a fan of boxing i will speak out against any BS a fighter speaks.

If i did'nt then what would be the point of me being a boxing fan? :huh

Its ok for him to take an easy fight after his first defeat, to get his confidence back. I don't expect him to fight hams forever though

As for the 45,000 fans, realise that in the current state of boxing, you want every single fan possible. They might get fooled by the big press about the match, but in the general boxing community, its always good to have a strong fan following for a boxer. Fairly similar to European Soccer, where fans will do everything for their team, no matter what or how good/bad their opponent is. In America, there is very little of that. Look at all the English fans that came over for Hatton vs Mayweather. Thats what boxing needs. Fans that support no matter what. If Mayweather went to England for a fight, there is no freaking way that many american's would have went to England to support Mayweather.

As much as it annoys me for Hatton to call his opponent ''#4 on the IBO list'', when we know the IBO is bs, i will take that over empty arena's.

F*ck Ricky Hatton until he mans up and fights Junior Witter. I was a fan of his, but I dislike him now after the BLATANT ducking of Witter.

I could care less about this fight. It's ridiculous how successful this bull**** fight will be.

I don't care about Hoya fighting Forbes because we all know that he's going to fight Mayweather straight after. :good

Hatton is fighting Powder Puff Paulie after Lazcano, who lost his last fight and should have lost his IBF title.

After Paulie he'll probably fright a blown up flyweight in Pacquiao.

I agree with you about bringing in more fans into the sport of boxing... but who honestly thinks THIS fight against Lazcano would bring more fans than a Junior Witter fight. If this fight is succesful in the UK, imagine the fight with Witter.

Mate, the truth is that Hatton could fight a corpse or De La Hoya and he'd shift the same amount of tickets for both events.

Its not about who Hatton fights. It's just about Hatton.

Hatton could shadow box for 12 rounda and he'd still pack out the joint. :patsch

yeah, everyone knows that. Hatton can sell any fight in the UK with his name alone.... but who's actually trying to defend this fight? are fans in the UK actually demanding a Lazcano fight? Because I know who the boxing fans are demanding and if Hatton doesn't know who that guy is... tell him to look in his beloved "IBO Rankings" at the name right below him. It's like Ricky is pimping his UK fans .... he'll keep fighting bums and his fans will keep supporting him. **** RICKY.

You seem to have an unhealthy addiction to Hatton. Why would you ever care if he can pack a stadium? Why would you ever care if he fought Witter? Why would he give an ******* like Witter the chance to make some cash? You obviosly just hate the guy for hates sake. Get a life.

Yeah right. Fight Witter would do two things. Acknowledge the ******* is good enough to fight and give the **** talker a chance to make a big payday. Would you do this for somebody who talks **** about you constantly? What for?

I mean, I think that left hook that landed on Hatton's cocanut was a pretty big factor.

Floyd would beat Hatton at his parents pub with his mom as the ref, get over it and move on to the next fight.
