why are you so sure Cotto will butcher Margarito?
I think Margo has a decent chance, he's a big sturdy ******* and I just don't see him wilting against Cotto.

Margarito will get punished badly with that defence, even his chin won't stand that fight

Cotto does everything better, Margarito's only real advantage is size

I'll be looking at some generous odds on the Cotto stoppage

nah, I don't see Cotto putting dents in him. Maybe we can have a bet near fight time?

I'm trying to get time off so I can go to that fight.

Exactly, he's a big sturdy ******* & will take a good beating. Cotto will jab his head off & bust him up on the inside. Margo is good to watch but people on the general forum love him because he has a good chin & brawls. The fact is he doesn't have the style to trouble Cotto but does have the chin to take a terrible beating from him. I seriously hope Margo has a sympathetic corner.

so you see it something like Kessler-Andrade?
I think Margo is good enough to give him a lot of stick in return, I guess that's where we disagree.

  6. TFFP

It wouldn't of thought it would be like Kessler/Andrade, Kessler stood his ground and controlled the distance with his 1-2 against the pressure fighter, whereas I can see Cotto actually coming forward and meeting Margarito, which will make this a war

Andrade and Margarito are very alike though, horrible defences, granite chins. Not always a good combination, from a long-term health point of view

I don't know if Cotto can stop Tony, but he will certainly beat him up.

  8. dan-b

Yes but worse because Cotto has better power. Margo will land but not hard enough or consistently enough to trouble Miguel. I will have no issue betting on this. I can see Margo being pulled out late with some terrible facial damage.

when did you give up being a sanctimonious ***** and become just like everybody else, bickering and hating?

Probably the day there ceased to be any interesting threads on this board. So did you prefer me being a "sanctimonious *****" then? Either way you have already personally insulted me at least three maybe four times & I have done no such thing to you at all.

Cotto has shown no real evidence of serious power at WW, Cintron has power and Margarito walked though him

Whereas Margarito can keep the pressure up and comes on strong down the stretch Cotto seemed to fade against Mosley

Cotto may well win... but your analysis of an easy night, I just can't accept that
