Ricky Hatton

If you have had enough of him, it is because you route out anything that he is connected with, with an agenda to find fault and slag him off as much as possible.

For you, especially as you are outside Manchester, you must very rarely see anything about Ricky Hatton, unless you are purpoesly looking for it. He is occasionally on SSN because, well, sports news programs will tend to focus on upcoming sports events, even though he hasn't really been on much as it has been such a big footballing month.
Apart from that there have been two documentories about him, which were very easily avoidable if you wanted to avoid them but no, no you wanted to watch, with your **** in your hand, dribbling from the mouth, getting excited about finding something he says that you will guess is untrue or waiting for him to tell a joke you have heard him say before so you can come running on here going on about how sick and tired you are of him and his jokes.

Apart from that, you would never see or hear about him except a couple of small pieces in the papers (just turn the page) or the threads on here (just don't click!!). Simple really.

It is so funny (funny peculiar), all these people who hate the guy (for some damaged reason) who go on about him telling the same joke in interviews, well, that just shows how obssessed you are, that you follow him enough to know his jokes and know how often he tells them.

Do you not realise how unstable you are? Sociopathic, compulsive obsession and it is so obvious to everyone who reads your posts.

 

Indeed - I'm a Hatton fan and I've not seen either documentary

you seem to think anyone who dares criticise Hatton is a nutter. How bizarre.
I believe you when you say he's a good guy around town and around his people.
That does not concern a lot of us boxing fans though. Surely you can see why some...many followers of the sport really dislike him and want to see him get beat again.

It's nowt to do with that, c'mon mate. You know the point I am making, if not you are blindly refusing to see it. It isn't that he is critisised, it is what the critisism entails that is the problem.

I have had several discussion on here with people who don't like his boxing style and I have always been interested in what they had to say and come away with it thinking "yep, he does need to work on his jab" or "I wish he would wrestle less too actually" etc.

I appreciate criticism, but what we are getting is not criticism, it is ignorant, cynical hatred but worse than that, it is people actually searching for reasons to hate him.

That people are supporting The Hispanic Causing Panic (what a ****ing name!!) is of no concern to me at all, why should it be? That people don't respect his boxing style or his skill, while I don't always agree, is of no concern either... Why the **** am I repeating this? I have a fault of being very ****ing long winded and spelling things out, so if you couldn't understand the reason I posted in the first place then I am wasting my time.

no no no, the way he fights is only part of if. The way he hypes up clearly handpicked opponents, spins things all the time, makes excuse for his loss and whines about it, the Witter situation.....these things get on the tits of many boxing fans.
Like I say, I believe you that he is a sound guy with his people and has a good heart helping kinds like James etc, but please try to understand the other side and why many people who are interested in boxing and not what Hatton eats for dinner are fed up with him and want to see his gravy train ended for good.

you need to read around the net more, it's signifcantly more than half a dozen. Even on this site it's much much more, and growing. Some of us called it right from way back, over 5 years ago.

 

Can we have a Ricky Hatton amnesty? We all say what we gotta say, good or bad, and then we all move on and, in future, only discuss him in a mature, non-nuthugging, non-hating manner??

Is what Hatton does when promoting/ hyping fights any different to what most boxers do in that situation? Or trying to rationize a loss in order to get a rematch?

Oh, and if you are fed up of hearing what Hatton had for dinner etc. maybe you should stop hanging on his every word???

Despite what Betty and his clan of cronies would like to believe(and are apparently alarmed when he isn't), Ricky Hatton is not perfect.

Most people just accept him for what he is, warts and all.
