Sites like this don't have the revenue to even risk a lawsuit from someone like Warren, no matter how unfounded.
Its a mindfield, I used to be co/Admin of a forum (not boxing) and you just can't take the risk of allowing slander/ libel on your site when someone with a bit of clout, even a small company, puts the threat of legal action to you. You arn't getting enough money from the site to lock horns with companies even if you think you are right.
Theres 2 ways to look at it from a slander/ libel point of view: Either the site Admin just run an open forum and the opinions that people express on it are nothing to do with them OR the site Admin own the site and are therefore responsible any libelous content......:think I don't know if this has been tested in law, just that as site Admins we didn't have the time/ money etc to be the ones to do it. I'd guess the guys who run ESB/ Boxrec etc are in the same boat...
