RICKY HATTON's comeback fight will be against Vyacheslav Senchenko of the Ukraine at Manchester’s MEN Arena on November 24.

I think it's ironic that after a three and a half year retirement Ricky Hatton is fighting someone who is even older than himself.

 Hatton's best fights have been against older blokes e.g. Tszyu, Castillo.

Plus this bloke just recently lost by TKO on cuts to Paulie "the featherfisted shoepolishing eh you want fries wit dat?" Malignaggi.

An easy night at home for Hatton to get his name back in the mix.

If he'd chosen someone likely to give him much trouble I would have thought him even crazier than I already rate him. His comeback is still going to end in tears IMO. At least it's unlikely his first up opponent will be the one causing the grief.

As much as I also dislike TC, It's good to see you talk boxing instead of getting bogged down in the ongoing slanging match with The Albury wonder:good

Fair call, I agree with your prediction for his comeback, unless he just fights stiffs at MEN for the next couple of years - he's got a HUGE fanbase and can benefit from scheduling fights in the UK soccer off-season.

Oh mate, I used to post heaps on boxing but just got sick of the same old **** over and over again. It's good that we've got someone back in the bigtime (Geale) so my interest has been reignited in the Aussie scene :good

I hope Hatton isn't completely shot and doesn't get embarrassed

There's that word great again and it's normally used bu someone having a pop at a bloke but they use the word great as a rock to hide behind when pulled on their **** then it's normally linked with the " Do you think he is an All Time Great " question lmfao , IMO Ricky Hatton is no all time great BUT was a two weight champion who retired on his stool a ****ing ledgend in Kostya and it took the by far then and years later the top two P4P ranked fighters in the world to defeat him .

In other news it's GREAT to see Bru posting boxing again but you are way off base thinking this is a soft touch comeback fight mate , I watched the Paulie fight and this kid is a tough koont Mutt just ciuldnt box to Paulies level and got out boxed in real " Bear v Cat " style . IMO a very credible opponent and Hatton is IMO asking for trouble fighting a guy like this straight out of retirement but I guess he is saying to himself that's the minimum standard he has to achive if he really wants to come back . Can't fault the kid for not fighting bronco type opponents and wasting every bodies time on an ego trip .

If his feet are still quick he should absolutely towel this dude up..well bust him up and probably grind out some sort of stoppage.

I was a bit skeptical of the Kat rumour because I didn't think he would come back at 140..I still would have liked to see Mick get a nice payday and it would have been far more watchable than this fight will probably end up being..that being said I will be watching it.

Excellent undercard to go with it. Can't wait to see RabchenKO in action again. One of the games best kept secrets. Not the finished article, but plenty of potential.

So do the 18,000 people who bought tickets without even knowing who his opponent would be.
