His facial features certainly looked filled out in comparison to the way you could see his skeletal features around his cheek bones at the weighin.

    LOL!

Anyway, Hatton should hang up his gloves right now. ANYONE who suffers such a devastating knockout should retire at once...

A concussion of that magnitude shouldn't just be brushed off as many of you do - he will quickly deteriorate if he fights on and will end up with brain damage that is apparent to everyone (if it isn't already).

Not only is his speech slurred, he is not the same person either, I've never seen him make so much excuses.

"You can't say anything when I was caught that early" etc.

Ricky is finished, please retire my friend, it is over. OVER. OVER

Heard him interviewed on the radio this morning and he didnt sound good at all.

    He sounds so slow.

He should definitely retire, he could end up with serious health problems if he carries on fighting.

..man, this isnt funny. He should retire. The effects of all the alcohol and weight binging as well as the actual 'in the ring' stuff, surely cant have a good effect on hes health. It might help save him though....as hes still only 30(i think) hopefully when he retires he gains weight so he doesnt think about a comeback.

hahahaha listen to him! Hr aint brain damaged at all. He's hit the bottle! its so freaking obvious. Listen to his words, they are completely slurred, drunk rat right there.

Back to the guinness ay Hatton. He needs to be careful he doesn't develope into a alcoholic i mean those interviews are him on his grand opening of his own gym worth 2 million pounds at his local town. And he turns up half drunk. Very sad.

He had a concussion and the effects can last for a few weeks until the swelling of the brain goes down.

Its normal for head trauma. I have a friend who got a good concussion water skiing and it took him about 4 weeks till he was back to normal.

The ring in the gym is extra soft to practice falling down without bracing.

That was one of the heaviest ko losses i have seen in recent times. A very small amount of trauma was absorbed by rickys neck muscles as he was hit on the point of the chin head on. Rickys tongue was hanging out of his mouth after the ko, the ring physician had to turn ricky onto his side and put him in the recovery position.

whether it is the booze or it is a head injury, i think its pretty certain that he should hang his gloves up
