Agree with the general point, but it was irrelevant who was at 147 really. He could only fight at 140 due to his style and the necessity that he was big at the weight. The Collazo fight should serve as a reminder because he was getting knocked out there if it was 13 round fight.
Ricky used to be sound but he's a bit of a tit now. He's never really been a man of the people though, and he's having money issues at the moment. Thus the comeback (at the time) and the book.
It was ridiculous that his family, trainer, promoter, friends etc allowed him to live that lifestyle.
As it was an event I'd imagine the organisers would have put that in place. I've seen Ricky in the lead up to his own fights + at other fight nights and he's always been happy to pose for pictures and chat with fans. People I know have also clocked him on nights out and in Tenerife, said he was sound with them.
Sorry when i said those guys, i meant the guys at 140 outside of Pacqiauo. Remember Pqcqiauo jumped up after the Hatton fight so he still left that void which Hatton could have filled.
Changes week by week Recently some of the ones I had a couple of pints of and liked have been: Westerhams - 1964 St Austell - Big Job Harveys - Armada Adnams - Fat Spratt All have been pretty decent in the past few weeks Don't usually like the Big Job at 7.6%, but the cask I had was too good to be true
Big job is okay. Had one the other day called seriously bad elf the other day at very strong 9% wasn't too bad. Id say fullers ESB is one of my favourites. Had quite a few. Right now I'm not in britian so just drinking mostly weihenstephaner. And Belgian beers.
