    Its into todays Sun.

Now why say you would fight Vladimir when he wouldnt even fight Witter?
And then he goes on to say in the article that Naz went out like a chump!!
Hatton isnt even worthy to carry Naz`s spit bucket. This northern ****** is getting way to big for his boots

I don't know what the exact quote was, but I'm sure he didn't say "chump". If he did, he's probably right, anyway. Hamed was one of the best fighters in the world, lost and did nothing afterwords. All true champions try to bounce back after a defeat whereas Hamed didn't. He made his money and quit the sport. Regardless of whether you think he will win or not, after Lazcano, Hatton's next three fights will all be against elite opposition. That's how you bounce back.

And Hatton has more of a legacy too. Hamed never beat a fighter of Tszyu's or Castillo's calibre, and if Hatton beats Malignaggi, him too.

I've read the interview (NOT in The Sun), Hatton just says he doesn't want to end his career like Hamed. Losing his biggest fight and then just fading away in a poor fight and retiring. I couldn't find the word "chump" anywhere in the interview.

Hamed's resume is solid! Bungu, Johnson, Medina, Kevin Kelley, Vazquez, Wayne McCullough, Ingle, Steve Robinson

Most of them are at better than MAlignaggi, shot to pieces Castillo..

Hamed is the better british fighter historically as it stands IMO

Hatton career highlighs would be 10 pints and a game of darts.

He was on about it a while back, he was just 'implying' that with Mayweather and Oscar's name etc and all these Welter and MW names being thrown about he may as well get go the whole hog and get in with Klitschko.

Dont think its pen to paper time.

The one I read he calls Hamed "one of the best British fighters ever".

Hatton vs Klit would be a decent scrap.

I think you have taken his article out of context, and the statement regarding a Klitschko fight was clearly sarcasm - if you can't see that you need to go back to school.

And for your information, Naz DID go out like a chump - he had the option of a rematch and didn't take it (fair enough) but don't start bleating on about being the most exciting fighter ever to grace boxing (interview with Adam Smith if you wish to refer). Most people turned up to watch Naz hoping to see him KTFO, unlike Hatton.

Scurla - just admit you are a hater and you will have all our respect (as much as a southerner can have), but constant sniping is painful.
