During Bowe's time in the scene till 1996 , his resume is light years beyond what Lewis was.

    Undefeated prime Holyfield
Undefeated Hide, Gonzalez , Larry Donald and Golota.
Ferguson who beat top ranked Ray Mercer to become Bowe's mando
    Two more fights with Holyfield

    Lewis -
Tucker , Phil Jackson, Justin Fortune , Butler , Ruddock , Bruno.

Guys Lewis missed - Tyson , Foreman, Moorer , Holmes , Bowe . He dropped two belts to avoid Ruiz and Byrd.

I actually agree with that. Bowe had a very short prime, but when he was on top. He looked the total package, shame he couldn't maintain it for too long.

I'm not entirely sure Bowe beats him even in the early 90's. That short a prime and his career plunging into the toilet as fast as it did makes you wonder how good he ever was. I don't remember a top fighter falling faster than Bowe did. He fell completely off the cliff after beating Holyfield in '95.

Were you even born in the 90s?

His career "fell off a cliff" after Holyfield in 95 because he received life-changing beatings from Golota in his next two fights. That is what happened to him. It's no mystery.

Wow. How much is left unsaid here? I mean thinking about the hiding Golota gave him I don't think I'd mention him.

Lennox not fighting well past their prime Foreman and Holmes can hardly be held against him. I would venture to say Tucker and Ruddock were better than the guys Bowe fought in his prime minus Holyfield. Bowe ducked him period, and Moorer was pretty much done after that humiliation to Foreman.

And I'd say Tyson was more responsible for ducking Lewis than the other way around.

    Uh yeah. I was.

I know about the life changing beatings from Golota. But the fact that the beatings happened at all says his plunge had a little more to do with something else considering the rest of Golota's career was pretty dubious. He never beat anyone even close to Bowe after that or before.

So you're counting the two Golota beatings in Bowe's favour on his resume... and you're marking down Lewis' resume because he didn't fight Foreman, who at that time was seen as an absolute joke. Moorer was given a load of $h1t for fighting Foreman (and a load more than that for losing to him). But again, I doubt you were even born in the 90s to remember this.

Tucker lost to Seldon. Bowe wiped Seldon out in seconds. Larry Donald, Gonzalez and Hide are better wins than Tucker.

What are Donald, Gonzalez, and Hide's best wins?

In seconds? Eight rounds is a strange definition for seconds. Lennox put Seldon away in three.

Foreman was never regarded as a joke in the 90's. There were questions about hin during the late 80's , but those were erased after he gave Holyfield a good fight.

If he was an 'absolute joke' , how was he getting title fights on pay per view. ?

Its you who is the absolute joke

Eight rounds? Bowe destroyed Seldon inside a round.

I must have missed the Lewis / Seldon fight. Was it good then?
