I'm not familiar enough with every fighter there.

I believe Don Curry should be in by now.

(As a Brit, I feel Eubank and Benn should have gone in before Calzaghe. But I'm not saying they should jump the queue on some of those others at all.)

Well deserved. A great fighter. You could see flashes of what would become Mayweather in prime Bowe.

This guy had it all at his disposal. Great to watch and had a very humble and likeable personality .

Yeah, Eubank/Benn is kind of revelatory of the area bias. If it was in Britain, they'd be bang in. Because that was an incredible time. Some of the supposedly more "famous" American fighters that have got in, the ticket sellers etc., won't have been seen by half as many as saw these guys.

I vote every year on all the committees and I take my vote seriously. It's not easy especially voting for the non-boxers. How do you compare promoters with a referee, or a manager. I try to weigh everything out before I send in my ballots.

I agree about some BWAA voters not knowing the fighters that are listed. For years several of them use to call me up and ask who to vote for. I do the web site for the BWAA But I am not a member. I am a voting member as a Boxing Historian, and I am honored for that.

I think Norton is a fairly ****ogous comparison, and he got in.

I'm not 100% up on Bowe events, but didn't he kidnap his wife and kids at some point?

Merely just a misguided attempt to reunite his family.

According to the Independent, he was "armed with a knife, pepper gas spray, handcuffs and masking tape."

I don't even pay attention to the IBHOF, it's so watered down, and as cheap as a can of beans, it's laughable and pathetic at the same time..

Case in point Gatti is in, and Donald Curry is out:-(, Stallone is in and he has never boxed a pro round in his life, and now Bowe is in:huh, he had 1 great night against Holyfield way back many years ago, and it was all downhill after that, he got lazy, fat and dumber, and lost the title in his first defense, then Golota beat the **** outta him in 2 fights, and he got out when his speech got so slurred it sounded like he had his mouth full of rocks...

Im still waiting to see if Mustafa Hasho gets the nod?- or Everett Bigfoot Martin, or Joe Hipp??

The Bhof, should be like Major league baseball, only the best of the best get in
