    - You're wrong.Holyfield was 215 and 218 pounds against Tyson.
-When Holy beat Bowe he was 217 lbs.
    - He didn't beat Valuev.
-Douglas was out of shape and i think he took a dive.
-Thomas was a faded journeyman against Holy.
    - Moorer? Good fighter ? An old man destroyed him in his prime.
    - Holmes was 42 years old and very fat.Good fighter? Don't fool us !
    - Mercer never was good the old 42 years old fat Holmes beat him
in his prime easier than Lewis.
    - Stewart never beat an actual good fighter obviously he wasn't good.
    - Rahman wasn't good fighter at all.Every decent fighter could beat
    him.
    - Cooper was a bum.
    - Holy never beat Lewis.

But otherwise i asked a good win example by a 205 pounds version Holyfield .

Well guess what, just because Holyfield was heavier, it doesn't mean that those wins, like, don't count :rofl

and EVERYBODY knows that Holyfield deserved the decision against Valuev. Blatant robbery.

    sure

Still a solid technician and a good fighter. He only had 2 losses prior to facing Holyfield. Good win.

You know what? I'm tired of this. Moorer was obviously a very good solid southpaw technician. You are just going to discredit every single one of Holyfield's wins. whatever. Have fun with your agenda.

I didn't memorize Holyfield's exact f*cking weights. I just know he has a lot of good wins.

How is Bowe a h2h beast when he pretty much struggled with every single decent fighter he fought?

Ok Holyfield i can understand, but he struggled with Biggs, Tubbs, Golota amongst others.

Outside of the Holyfield wars, Bowe never produced one single flawless performance.

Been a quality debate this, actually reignited my hunger for boxing knowledge again.

Kinda went stagnant in the past year but I feel the yearning to watch footage and spend hours trawling articles again :good

this is true, and it tells how well bowe matches up with shorter, come forward pressure fighters...sure, bert cooper wasn't all time great high caliber boxer, but the way bowe smashed him, in a really impressive manner...funny thing is that bowe lost the 1st round :D

Bowe lost ONCE and it was razor close. If thats not consistent for a heavyweight I dont know what is. Contrary to most think, he actually BEAT Golota both times. Bowe did something to make Golota foul out and quit, and that was he fought back, regardless of the beating he was taking.

To add to this thread inconsistency and poor conditioning weaken the chin. Bowe after winning the title did show the ability to get shook or hurt, but he did take some bombs against Cooper which proved to me he had the chin to go with his skill set.
Bowe was inconsistent in his fitness and it did effect his performances but he still managed to win all his fights but one, so it really is proof how good he really was when he managed to stay in shape.

On paper he beat Golota but every objective boxing fan knows
    he didn't deserve these wins.
By historical point of view you are right Bowe's record looks
incredible good but you forget the original opinion !
"rid**** bowe is maybe the best hw h2h!!!
And this opinion is ridicolous when a fighter's best win a 205 lbs
6'2" skinny fighter by points(Not by ko ) and this fighter never
beat or fought actual prime quality hard-punching fighters
    like Tyson,Lewis,Bruno,Tucker,Smith,Ruddock etc.
But the not too talented, mediocre puncher Golota was too much
for him when Lewis,**** version Tyson maybe with marijuana or Brewster humiliated Golota.

I don't know only one example when cooper beat a good tall
fighter.I think Bowe wasn't good against the pressure fighters because
Cooper was bad against the tall guys .

His defense, particularly, from the outside, was poor. He had a good chin and heart but it's not as if he faced a lot of big punchers

I thought he had a better defense on the inside with his subtle movements and some slipping/ducking skills than he did at longer range.

He had a lot of tools but I can't pick him over peak versions of Lewis, Tyson, Ali...because of his defense.
