Yeah, nobody in this thread has seen the Huck fight. Where did you acquire such privlaged footage? Such an exposing secret will surely blow the minds of all picking Povetkin in this thread, and all predictions will become Bowe KO1. Or maybe we've all seen this much talked about Fight of the Year candidate, and decided that a fat Povetkin chasing a slippery cruiser around the ring isn't a great guage for how a Bowe brawl would go down.
atsch:nut Attempting to fabricate truths once again since the reality of matters doesn't fit your argument:-( Povektin didn't chase any Huck around any ring , but was brawled ,battered and had to hang on to Hucks trunks to prevent himself from falling over. All from a cave man swinging Huck who barley took a step backwards all night long:roll:
And Huck's HW record is 0-1-0 and the guy hasn't even a good record at Cruiser having beaten nobody of note while losing to 40 year old Arlan and going life and death with the terrible Ola Afolabi.
Did the guy who lost an account bet to me try to reply to one of my posts... All I'm seeing on my screen is two pictures of a big yellow duck.
Don't be so hard on yourself Dino the Duck. http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?p=15400200#post15400200
So you remember posts of mine I don't even remember myself? Creepy. Still not as bad as claiming Povetkin chased a slickster around the ring:rofl
Bowe wins and I predict a Knockout around 8-10 rounds... Bowe was very good for a short period of time but when he put it all together he was great...
Well you certainly ****ing haven't if you think that's what happened And you haven't seen Huck fight ever if you mistake him for 'a slippery cruser' FFS
What does "slippery cruiser" mean to you? I saw Huck use an effective defense to negate Povetkin's power on the inside and prevent him from landing clean with combinations. I saw Huck use superior speed to time Povetkin's low crouching rushes with jabs and right crosses that Wlad and even the most athletic of Super Heavies wouldn't be able to utilize. Huck certainly went wild a few times, especially when he thought he had Povetkin hurt, but he "boxed" a good fight on this night. Can you refute any of this?
This is embarrassing, Huck's about as slippery as a vice grip. The only argument for a poor performance/loss is Povetkin underestimated Huck or maybe he's just past prime.
Again, I saw Huck beat Povetkin to the punch and anticipate his attacks on the inside for a good portion of the fight. Can you refute this? Most would agree Povetkin did underestimate Huck and showed up in poor condition.
I don't think you understand what a slippery boxer is, either that or didn't see the fight. There should of been a rematch really.
Slippery means elusive, as in avoids punishment. Povetkin even when fat is an excellent offensive fighter. Huck kept him in check witih quick counters and tight defense. I don't care how Huck fights in other fights, against Povetkin, he was smart and kept a good inside fighter off of him. It was being suggested Huck was out brawling Povetkin, that is false.
Hey there Mr. Expert. I'll make this easy. In the first two rounds can you explain this strange thing Huck is doing when Povetkin steps forward throwing punches. It looks like Huck is anticipating the attacks and stepping out of range. Being elusive..some would say, but your the expert and you say that didn't happen. Or how about this weird thing he is doing with his gloves and arms, he seems to raise them and deflect Povetkin's punches. Some would call this defense, but I don't know. Take your time.
