Stiverne is not a top 10 heavyweight, his best wins are Arreola x2 and Ray Austin.

Holding a version of the HW title isn't everything, Povetkins win over Takam> Wilders win over Stiverne, not to mention his long time as HW contender. Do you think Ruiz was one one of the heavyweights of the 2000s because he a held a version of the HW title?

You're only talking down on Stiverne because he lost to Wilder.

Look what Stiverne does from here on out.

    You'll be surprised.

Takam would be completely demolished by both Stiverne AND Wilder.

And no I do not think Ruiz was one of the best hw's of the 2000's. I don't think he was that bad though like most like to say.

Povetkin schooled, and beat Charr from pillar to post before KO'ing him... That's silly talk, there are greats who went the distance with journeymen on Charrs level or even lower. Using that against him is stupid. Takam could very well be a top 5 HW. In fact I would think his performances against Perez, Thompson, and then Povetkin would suggest that to be the case.

No, I never thought Stiverne was great, but I definitely thought he was good enough to beat Wilder. I was wrong there, at least on the night. We're talking about a guy who was getting outboxed by Arreola in the 2nd fight before the KO, and a shot Ray Austin. Stiverne the slug is not all that great. I'd bet a lot of money that someone like Takam would beat him. Takam has gone through some real tough fighters as of late, he's certainly proved himself more than those two.

You must have missed his fights against Perez, Thompson and Povetkin, he's good. He'd spray some salt on the slow moving slug just like Wilder did, and Takam would be able to pressure Wilder in ways that Stiverne couldn't. In hindsight I think even Arreola has a better chance at beating Wilder than Stiverne does, styles.... Wilder has lots of holes in his game that a good pressure fighter with pop could almost certainly exploit. Takam has an excellent chance at getting the job done.

Takam is good, but not a world level fighter, not even close.

Wilder would seriously put the hurting on his ass, Stiverne too.

    No, he wouldn't

Wilder would easily land that right on Takam and that would be the end of that.

No way in hell, people are giving Stiverne no credit as a fighter after Wilder beat him.

Stiverne has bombs in his hands and a granite jaw.

He also bangs pretty well on the inside.

    Takam gets stopped, brutally here.

    Povetkin by UD.

He is routinely underrated on this forum but the man has it all except for size.

Stiverne is a slow moving CP with no workrate. If Arreola was able to outbox, and outwork him over 5 rounds you really don't think Takam could? Slowverne is a slug. Takam would pour some salt on him and likely shut him out over 12.
