We're talking about the terrific version of Bowe who fought that epic fight in taking the title from Holyfield against the formidable Black Panther who had the plug pulled from his proposed shot at Jack Dempsey in 1924. I don't know enough about Wills or saw enough footage to make an educated guess here. I know he fought several times excellent heavyweights like Joe Jeanette, Sam McVey, the legendary Sam Langford, who beat Wills but was pretty much blind the last time they fought and lost that one by knockout. Wills and Luis Firpo had a bought that was critized by James J Corbett. Corbett stated, "I have now gazed upon the worst." Wills defeated Firpo by decision or possibly 8th round knockout. I'm not sure. Anyway, I'm curious to see what those who post here think would happen.

From what little I've seen and what I've read about Wills, I think he may have had a similar style as Bowe - a big, tall HW (for his era at least) who liked to press forward and work inside.

No idea who would win between them though.
