Former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, Riddick Bowe, claims that he recently approached his career rival Lennox Lewis with the idea of having a fight where the money would go to charity. Bowe says Lewis turned down the request. Since Lewis refused the fight, Bowe would have interest in fighting either Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko. The former champion has not fought since December 2008. Several fights have been scheduled since then. They never go through as the 44-year-old champion withdrew from them...........................................20 years to late, who wants to see this!:-(

I guess Riddick has more brain damage than initially thought. What a loser. This is the same guy that chicken shitted his way out of fight with Lewis when both were in their primes.

He needs money. What else do you expect? He's throwing sh*t against the wall and hoping something sticks.

Lewis said in an interview they met Bowe and his handlers to negotiate a fight in the early 90s. Lewis manager entered the room, they sat down and Bowe's handler said "Ok folks, this is how things look. We get 90% of the pot or the fight is a no-go". Lennox said him and Ogun stood up and left the room immediately as it was clear Bowe had no intention of fighting at all.

i'm a big lewis fan but i liked riddick bowe, he was a hell of a fighter and stood a great chance of beating lewis at the time he chickened out imo. its sad that brain dead fighters like bowe, tyson, and holyfield are not bright enough to look after the money they made in the ring.

He had the chance back when it mattered and openly ducked him. Right now is a joke to even think about it. Lewis didn't return for Vitali in a fight that would have made a lot of money, why would he return for this?
