This version of Bowe all day for me, Too quick and too clever and would just bully Wlad, he would counter that jab by Wlad all day long, the guy who turned up for that first Holyfield fight was one of the best heavyweights I've ever seen, Without doubt the best big man inside fighter I've ever seen!!

The guy is supreme, I mean how would Wlad beat him?? He wouldn't be allowed to fight at his own pace which he has to have and he also wouldn't be able to hold Bowe as he'd get smashed with a different shot everytime he tried, Add to all that Bowe's power and the fight is over inside 8-10 brutal rounds for me..:good

I'm not a Wlad fan by any stretch of the imagination, that version of Bowie was a monster, by **** did he dish some punishment out on Holyfield.

I just think anytime Bowe gets in close, Wlad shits himself and grabs hold for dear life, pumps that jab out followed by a straight right leading him into Bowe and he holds again.

Be interesting if a ref would stand for that tactics all night.

As I said in my original, I think Wlad on points, but standing with Bowe like Holyfield did then Wlad gets beaten to retirement. I just don't think Wlad would stand and take the combinations and instead would fight when he wanted.

Bowe was 235 against Holyfield that night, Wlad was nearly 250, maybe all the clinching would eventually tire Bowe out as well.

They are trying to package him as the ATG HW's because of his dominance over sub-standard opposition.

How/why did the HW division get so bad.:think

:yepThat Bowe was a machine!, a big man, relentless fast combination's.
I struggle to see Wlad coping with the onslaught he'd bring.:good

Bowe took a lot of punishment against Holyfield and he's never fought anyone who hits as hard as Vlad - The one time Bowe got the chance to face a hard hitter he threw his belt in the garbage.
But maybe the Bowe of the first Holyfield fight would overcome Vlad, but if they fought 10 times in their careers that would be the only night Bowe would have a chance to win...

When plan A fails ;plod straight ahead trying to catch the jab straight in the face if possible.

Yeah I'm sure the weight him against would sap energy but Bowe would keep on dishing even when grabbed.

Fair 'nuff Wlad's got real weight behind his jab but that doesn't nullify Bowe's power if he connects. Who's the tallest opponent of Wlad's career btw:good

60/40 chance of winning to Bowe

I think both these two are very good HW's and both deserve respect.

I don't enjoy the ridicule both of them constantly get.

Bowe is only being lorded here because he's pitted against Wlad, who currently seems to be public enemy number one (well in the UK and US anyway (not in the US if pitted against Haye)).

I've nothing at all against Wlad, I'm bored stiff with the HW division but its not his fault that he is so dominant against a so-so set of contenders. His style is also pretty boring but he'd be a fool try and make fights exciting and risky when he doesn't have to.

I think Bowe or Wlad could give any Heavyweight in history a good fight.

Put it this way whilst I felt Lennox Lewis would beat Bowe in a humdinger of a fight both at their peak in the pro's it was never because I thought Lewis was technically better rather because I felt at some stage it would generate into a dog fight and perhaps Lewis greater marginally physical strength might be the X-Factor but Bowe was better technically. At the age of 25, 26 and 27 he may have been better than the great Larry Holmes was at the same age. I rate Bowe abilities so highly that I think he would have beaten Lewis pre Emmanuel Steward.

Bowe would eventually hunt WALDO down and stop him.

Bowe would win for a number of reasons, he has that jab which will offset Wlads propensity to dominate with his, the punch resistance to not get intimidated and dismayed as the fight goes on, and the power to dissuade Wlad from throwing his sharp shooting bombs down the stretch.

Bowes unbeliavable ability (for a big man) on the inside and own strength is what does Wlad in, he would be clinching more than ever in this fight and Bowe would find space to get his shots off more frequently.

    Bowe KO 7.

I personally think the post-exile Ali that did in Quarry and Bonavena would stop Wlad. The video montage last week was so inappropriate that I found myself laughing hysterically.

I actually think Quarry would be Hell for Wlad, iron chin, iron fists, iron will, the only problem Quarry would have is the weight in the clinches wearing him out and the damage his face could take from Wlads jab and sporadic offensive arsenal.

The likes of Shavers, Quarry, Lyle and Norton would be the best opponents he'd ever faced, and I'm not certain I'd favour him outright against any of them, Wlad has sometimes failed to impress in a terrible division.
