If anyone hasn't seen it [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k2ZW0htnZfw[/ame] Talks about holyfield trilogy and why tyson and lewis fight didn't happen, also training with futch
Good interview that last week, enjoyed it. He will always be a likeable dude Big Daddy and is good to listen to, but he has that trademark heavyweight ego thing, which all top heavies from the past have. Including Lennox :hey Still seems bitter about Lewis and interesting what he said about Tyson. I have heard that version before but would like to hear Mike's version of it. Most likely he would say the same with them both being Brooklynites. Good stuff, just a shame he never looked after his money or indeed himself.
One of the best things Ive ever seen on ringside though it was nearly ruined by the "experts" comments at the end For a brief period of time, Bowe looked like he was on the way to being a truly great HW. A big, strong skillfull guy with a solid chin & power in both hands he was a wrecking machine who was still young & improving when he got to the top. It just goes to show that all the talent in the world isnt enough at the highest level, without the right mentality & dedication you can only go so far.
The problem is the poor nutrition of Burger King and the lack of training discipline in US. 99 out of 100 US HWs are overweight.
You can get McDonalds + Burger King anywhere. There are a few in shape US HWs like Mitchell, Jennings, Johnson, Grant. Povetkin, Chagaev and Helenius aren't exactly ripped, are they?
Another great interview, Tyson previewing Haye vs Harrison! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfpFrel5O4k[/ame]
