Hope he's training hard on the ground. Alot of formerly elite boxers transitioning to MMA have done poorly because they don't realize that to fight in mma you have to be well rounded. One demensional fighters tend to get exposed.

PIRA are you lumping muay thai and mma in together? Muay Thai is completely useless in mma if you cant grapple, same as boxing.

before the mercer-kimbo fight, i was in a discussion with some mma fans and i got confused and started calling "mercer" as "bowe". i really felt stupid thinking that bowe would never come close to an mma ring but my my my. it could just happend
Very sad... the man already has massive brain damage and might still be on drugs or has a past with it. He's close to 40 right now, even a non-damaged set of brains will have a lot of trouble adapting 25 years of boxing knowledge with groundwork, etc. I didn't think Mercer would beat even a Kimbo and Bowe would get his ass handed to him as well by Kimbo.
