If Bowe does K-1 instead of Pride or UFC, he may have a slight chance of being at least competitive. K-1 is more boxing oriented and has a lot of big, slow guys in it. You can take down people in K-1, but you can't make anyone tap out or hit them after you taken them to the ground. Pride and UFC is a *****, and they have smaller, quicker guys who could grab Bowe in a pinch and get his ass in a grappling move and tap his ass out. Being in Korea, where MMA is a lot more popular than boxing, MMA is on daily, and I will see it when this happens. Ex-boxers really don't do well in MMA. Frans Botha was semi-successful a few years back, but he still sucked in my book.
According to Bowe it's not about the money. He's rich and don't need the money he just loves to fight. You're probably right about that he knows nothing else but fighting, so what exactly is he supposed to do all day? He wants to fight so he can feel alive and be somebody.
