I'm not counting Golota. Holyfieldx2 Pinklon Seldon Dokes Jesse Ferguson Tubbs Biggs Bert Cooper Either Hide or Donald pick whichever one you prefer Difference between 3 and 10 is very small here. Put Pinklon 3rd cause name wise hes still on different tier then the rest of them as would Golota if he were counted.
Holyfield 1 10 Herbie Hide 10 Tony Tubbs 10 Jorge Luis Gonzales 9 Holyfield III 9 Michael Dokes 8 Jesse Ferguson 8 Larry Donald 7 Bruce Seldon 7 Biggs 6 Cooper 5 Andrew Golota I 3 Andrew Golata II 3 Thomas 3 Coetzer 1
You don't have to. Since it was left up to me, I'll pick Hide because he already as the greater vote total. If you change your mind and want to commit, let me know. Thanks.
Bowe's win over Bert Cooper was impressive because that wasn't a coked out Cooper. That was Bert during a resurgence in his career. Riddick made it look easy in round 2 after laying on the inside with Cooper in the 1st round. Bert just got stopped by a great young heavyweight.
I view them as wins, from the perspective of recognising the official results, but not wins Bowe deserves credit for. I can't list fights he was getting battered in, where his temperamental opponent decided to continually land low blows until he was DQ'd, amongst Bowe's best wins. Bowe technically won those fights because Golota lost them, not as a result of his own performance.
If you don't think Bowe won because Golota quit then you don't believe Grant won either. It's as simple as that. Quittage means losing. You quit you lose. Got it? Good
Agreed. What is often forgotten is that Bowe was actually on his way to win the second fight before being fouled repeatedly.
