The Bowe who beat Holyfield in their first fight v the 40 something versions of Holmes and Foreman who fought Holyfield in 1991/92.
Bowe 1992 decision teh Foreman of 1991 - if he not KTFO by a Mega-Haymaker. Bowe 1992 decisions teh 1992 Larry
I pretty much concur with Foreman's hook. I have to pick that 1992 version of Riddick Bowe to triumph over the comeback renditions of Holmes and Foreman. I don't think that its out of the question that one or both may have upset him, but I can't make either the favorite.
Foreman would KO him Foreman hits a touch harder than the hardest puncher Bowe fought When I say touch I mean massive amount... And Bowe is there to be hit.
Bowe wrecks both of them and anyone who was a fan then should know this... Not even close i have no doubt about the outcome of these fights.... I think Holmes would have his moments though and probably mildly competetive he might last the distance not sure... I think a prime Bowe would hurt an old George i wouldnt wanna see this fight this would get ugly.
1990s Foreman has to be one of the most overrated fighters of all time. He was outboxed numerous times by B level fighters, and most of the time failed to deliver the knockout blow when he stepped up in competition. A peak riddick bowe would annihilate a 1990s George Foreman. I wouldn't be surprised if Bowe stops him.
Bowe would lose 1 of the fights. It could be either, but most likely the 2nd guy to face him. These 2 guys are not showing up for a payday like Dokes and Ferguson. Bowe will be Bowe and not train seriously for one of them and fight the wrong fight in the ring and lose a fight he should've won.
Holmes makes Bowe look silly for several early rounds(Watch the Biggs fight...If Tyrell could do it...) but succumbs to his age and his refusal to exercise his legs around the 8th, loses the 9th and 10th, and gets run over in the 11th and 12th. Foreman fight is damn competitive. I give Bowe the advantage due to youth, stamina, and workrate, but Foreman hit harder, had the better jab(And this played havoc on Bowes game every time) and was stronger on the inside(Not better, stronger). Bowe would outbox him narrowly, probably hit the deck atleast once if not get hurt a couple times, and struggle. Styles. Both are too faded to beat him, but both had tools out of the box you need to get past Bowe.
You mean "Easily". Did you not see the way average B fighters like Alex Stewart and Axel Shulz outboxed foreman? Or the way Foreman made Tommy Morrison look like Ezzard Charles?
oh dear, i'm one of the "prime riddick beats almost anyone" guys. i appreciate he didn't have a long prime, but his victory over prime holyfield is great.
Riddick didnt commit to his fine jab NEAR as much as Old Foreman. Ring magazine at one time rated George's left stick as the finest in the division. I've been in the ring with both guys. George's jab was sterling. And Bowe liked to fight ALOT more than he liked to box. When he started getting hit with jabs, and a big right hand, he's gonna get close and started slinging leather, and he would be hit back. I supposed I can envision him winning most rounds on heavy, eye catching punches that make the spray fly, but he's getting the crap beaten out of him along the way. Morrison fought with more discipline than Bowe ever displayed. Even his great Holyfield fight, he let Holyfield come to him and out fought him there. You don't come to any version of George and not have a tough night.
What did you think of Bowe's defence? Always surprised me that such a technically sound guy was so easy to hit.
