In my opinion this is a tough fight to call. Interesting styles match-up. I would love to watch this! If I had to bet, I would bet on Tyson.

Terrible call. Bowes ponderous punches and sieve like defense would make sure he didn't see the later rounds.

It ends bad for Bowe, brutally, before 6.

gotta go with tyson. bowe would trade too much. the way tp beat tyson os to outbox him, not trade punches. tyson is the bigger puncher and has the more proven chin. bowe didnt fight alot of punchers in his career.

I think Bowe's got the tools, I just can't be 100% that he'll use them.

I think he'd want to get stuck in and knock Tyson out, and that would be a dangerous game plan for him. If I thought he could definitely stick to the jab-and-move to wear Tyson down, right hands down the pipe and uppercuts, then turn on the power over the second half I'd be more willing to pick him win.

But, even with Futch in the corner, I think Bowe would let his emotion take over.

bowe wouldn't be intimidated by tyson. if the same bowe comes out that fought holyfield then i see him making it through a competitive first 3 or 4 rounds, then starting to rough him up more and more, then winning by brutal KO in the middle rounds

whats imtimidation have to do with it. if he trade punches like he did with holyfield, hes definately gonna have trouble. especially considering holyfield hurt him, tyson's power is on a d higher level.

If there is one dream fight I could pick it would be this one. The best Bowe against the best Tyson.
Tyson liked to tie up on the inside, and Bowe was really good at beating guys up that did that. He threw nasty short hooks and uppercuts in the clinches. Tyson would be forced to fight more from the outside. Its an interesting matchup and like someone said the chin factor would be a big one in this. I just dont know if Bowe could take a three four punch combination from Tyson and I could see Tyson coming out of a clinch with his body uppercut combination and really hurting Bowe.

bowe was a great inside fighter for a tall fighter but he would need to fight tall against tyson and keep away from him. trading with tyson wont work. tyson is the bigger puncher and has the more proven chin.

I like this post. I don't understand how a man with such quality infighting tools could have such a leaky defence. Maybe, the only consistent part of Bowe's training was refining his punching technique on the heavy bag .Maybe he regularly came in overweight before any period of serious sparring .Then he couldn't really refine his footwork or his boxing ability at mid/long-range.

Bowes best chnance would be to arrange a fight with Tyson then blatantaly renege on the arrangement and hope the Bowe apologists would claim that Bowe would of won anyway

Tyson by KO, Bowe got hit too much to be getting hit by Tyson who would have been the hardest puncher Bowe faced. I think the damage is done early and the fight ends around the 8th...Tyson bad opponent for Bowe IMO

    Bowe put Holyfield down.

    Tyson didn't.

Bowe might have a slight edge if it goes 12 rds.

I'll go with Tyson early. I think Bowe would be too easy to catch flush and Tyson wouldn't let him off the hook after hurting him.
