Can't see the bodybuilder Joshua being durable enough to withstand prime Bowe's attacks. I didn't think Holyfield won the 2nd fight either.

This. At this point Bowe destroys him. But, to be fair we haven't seen Joshua at his best yet, since he's still a green fighter and hasn't reached his best yet. If he stays dedicated and keeps improving he has a lot of potential.

Bowe at his best takes AJ apart.Better boxer with superior movement .I can't see AJ coping with Bowes Fluid stile

Joshua hasnt showed he could handle a fighter like Bowe. Hes still very green in my opinon. He needed to fight someone like Wilder. His manager is stupid, or maybe smart because he knows hes not ready.

I like Bowe by stoppage he had a solid jab, good hand speed and was better then any man his size on the inside. Can see Bowe tagging Joshua early and staying on him feel he is a lot more fluid then AJ. Bowe defense could be poor but he had a lot going for him feel he is more skilled then Joshua and better conditioned reckon he knocks Aj out in 7.

at first i would have said bowe, remembering his classic series with Holyfield. but take Holyfield out of the equation….. and Things get a Little more complicated. first off, bowe may have just had Holyfields number. cause outside Holyfield, who else did he ever really beat??
he stopped Holyfield in the third Encounter to close out the series ……..but 7 months later was totally outclassed by nutcase golota.
sure, the Holyfield fight had taken it s toll...…..but bowe was 28. Maybe the reason for him getting beaten up by golota was something else: Maybe he just couldnt handle a talented, big hitting Heavyweight who could box a Little.
because if you look back at bowes Career, he never actually met a big, hard punching Heavyweight. Holyfield was a small Heavyweight and not a one Punch guy.
he never met tyson. or even ruddock or morisson. and he openly ran from lewis……….at that time a huge, big punching Heavyweight.
so Maybe that was bowes Kryptonite: Size and power. and Joshua has a ton of both.

I give Joshua a very good chance. He's like a modern day Frank Bruno but has better handspeed and puts his punches together far better than Bruno.

How does Bowe win this? His lack of defense would be a huge problem against a puncher like Joshua. Joshua also happens to be bigger and physically stronger than Bowe.

But if he's still be green at this point, when will he be not green? He's 29 so the clock is ticking. I mean, he can still improve over the next 2 or 3 years, like say Lennox Lewis who was at his very best at 32/33, but that involved changes in his style and an extremely proficient trainer.

It seems like with AJ we ought to be seeing small improvements every time he fights which will eventually end up to one big massive improvement. I doubt that we'll see this drastic improvement in 1 fight that'll leave us wondering if it's the same fighter.

On the other hand, at 21/22, Tyson was considered "still improving" as people thought that his prime would be between 91 and 96. But the Tyson of the Spinks fight was as good as Tyson was going to get. Although several things factored into that.

Although, Joshua still may improve as a fighter, Bowe knocks out any version of Joshua that I have seen so far. Bowe hit just as hard as Joshua and is WAY more fluid in his punching and combinations. Before he got fat and disinterested, Bowe was a very skilled and dangerous fighter.

Yeah if we could have seen Bowe/Bruno that could have given us a rough estimate on how Bowe/AJ may have gone.

Bowe at his best would be a terrible style for Joshua, he is is another class for me. He is faster, slicker and a better all round boxer. he could fight on the inside, outside and had the chin and heart to be dangerous when hurt. If he gets AJ hurt like Wlad did, Riddick is all over him, it would be over. Id take Bowe by KO/TKO in the 2nd half of the fight. He would take AJ apart imo

My gut says Bowe, but this is probably a fight that's incapable of truly surprising me, however it goes. I could see just about any outcome imaginable here.

Why not? I could definitely picture Bowe pounding down Joshua, but why, in your judgment, is it even close to being the obvious outcome?

Yeah because AJ can bang and Bowe didn't have the tightest defense.
