It was pure sarcasm. He has losses to like 3 Light Heavyweights, all be it 2 past his prime.

 

Thought you might have meant that, but those guys despite coming up from smaller weights still fought at 215 pounds vs Holy while Conn was Like what, 180 vs Louis? Not exactly comparable so I wasnt sure how to respond.

 

I wanted to vote Bowe by illegal homicide, but found that only the "Bowe by legal homicide" option was available as a poll choice.

This gives me serious doubts about the rigor of this discussion as a whole, forcing me to vote "Conn by magic" in protest.

I hope that the organizers of this event will take my reasonable criticisms into account next time they schedule a bout between these two gentlemen. Good day.

 

Bowe was like 70 pounds heavier, infinitely stronger, much harder puncher and a much better chin.

Louis was much better puncher than Bowe and he struggled to stop him for the majority of the fight, yet Bowe would stop him in one round? Yeah, perfectly reasonable...

Joe was greater and better (but not by much) than Bowe.
While Louis was 25 pounds (or 35. Louis' weight was announced as 199½ and Conn's as 174 but it has been reported that Louis actually weighed 204 and Conn was 169.) Heavier than Conn, Bowe would outweight him by 70-80 pounds !!!
Billy came close to beating Joe Louis because he had skills and a style that hit directly at all Joe Louis’s weaknesses.
But Bowe did not have the same weaknesses.

 

So that would cause a first round KO for Bowe? Sorry but something is wrong.
