Byrd far too slick for bumbling Bowe.

Bowe's best chance would be if Byrd slowed down late and he trapped him in a corner. But I wouldn't bet any money on that happening.

What do you mean 'slowed down' ??:smash2:

Byrd was flat footed and slow moving from the get-go... Do you even watch these guys fight? How is it possible to be so clueless
Bowe makes mince meat of Byrd . Utterly destroys him. Larry Donald is the guy who you think Byrd is. He never stopped moving around the ring and looked like the second coming of Jimmy Young. He didn't win a minute of any of the 12 rounds. Slow pondours Bowe shut him complete out.

Hide was on his bike and ran more in 6 rounds than Byrd ran in 12 vs WK. Bowe wouldn't have to find any Byrd. Byrd is right there in front of him. Burd gets knocked out no later than it took Ike Ibeacchi:cool1:

The Klitshits are worse than ever.

Byrd would get destroyed by Bowe. We are putting up a man on the level of Jameel McCline and Fres Oquendo against one of the best fighters in the last 30 years.

Byrd is elusive but he very rarely fought on the back foot. I think the only time was against Holyfield.

Byrd was at his best in the pocket making you miss and landing sharp counters.

The problem is Bowe is at his best in the pocket pushing you back and whipping in bludgeon force hooks hoping to wear you down.

At range I don't see Byrd out jabbing the bigger Bowe which means he will have to fight up close in front of Bowe and put himself in harms way. We all saw his troubles with Vitali and Golota, now whilst he won both of those fights he was against two inferior in fighters to himself. Bowe, for me is better inside.

This is gonna go the way of Byrd v Ike. Byrd will fight in the pocket, lose exchanges, try fighting on the back foot, get chased across the ring and ultimately knocked out.

LOL @ Dino trying to make Bowe sound like the second coming of Ali. Sometimes I wonder if he watches boxing at all.

Yet your the guy who thinks that a guy who struggled badly against Jameel McCline, Fres Oquendo and DaVarryl Williamson who weren't even top fighters in that incredibly weak HW era beats a true great HW fighter like Bowe

Yet Douglas managed to beat Tyson.

It isn't about greatness it's about ability and style.

Anthony Joshua is nowhere near the greatest HW in history but by the time he retires he might just be the best.

I guess that the meaning of "great" has changed since I last looked.

You really think that a guy that got taken to hell by a heavyweight mediocrity like Golota and whose sole claim to fame rests on the bad judgment of the much smaller Holyfield who got drawn into a slugfest, can hang with a guy as skilled as Byrd?

Chris would be licking his chops at the thought of that huge, looping, telegraphed right hand. Why, he could slip it, counter AND be refreshed by the passing wind all in one fell swoop! :D

This sounds right, playing inside which was Byrd's tendency and style, and vs an inside Monster like Bowe it'll just be a matter of time before Bowe hurts him badly and then finishes him, I see a clean KO.

Good match up. Bowe had trouble and arguably lost to Tubbs. Byrd was elusive but Bowe was fluid on offensive and would probably do enough to win on points 8-4.

Tubbs was bigger and better than Byrd.

Bowe wins this one, possibly even by KO.

I think it might look something like Bowe-Mathis Jr, fouls included.
