My guess is Bowe blasts him out of there between 6 and 8. Byrd doesn't have much to keep Bowe off of him and for all his shortcomings Bowe was an offensive monster.
Bowe by early to mid-rounds tko or ko He's got a huge size and strength advantage. Chris might trouble him a bit with quick flurries, but he's not going to have the power to hurt Bowe. After he warms up, Bowe uses his strength to get Byrd on the ropes and blasts away. Bryd blocks a lot, but enough get home to take a toll. Bowe rains in a fusilade of unanswered blows until the ref intervenes or Byrd slumps to the canvas.
Keep in mind Bowe struggled with Tubbs. Despite what the announcers said that fight was close and Tubbs was slick like Byrd.
Byrd's style gives Bowe trouble for about 5 round s ,Bowe then ups the pace and starts connecting with hard rights and upper cuts. Some point in the mid way Byrd gets caught on the ropes and dropped heavily .Chris is hurt bad and the ref jumps in .
Tubbs moved better than Byrd and was much bigger. Also, Bowe hadn't reached his peak yet when he fought Tubbs.
All true but Tubbs was also a notorious under achiever where as Byrd was an over achiever. I have a feeling he would do better than some suspect.
Foulfest from Bowe. He'd be missing so he would land a ton on breaks and after the bell rang and his patented low blow combos---land a big low blow and keep on punching. but the ref is not disqualifying the house fighter and Byrd always fought fair. Trouble is the other guy does not. Sooner or later the ref waves it off in an ugly fight
