The Holyfield fights make me pick Bowe, late stoppage or clear decision in a tough fight!

I made it as far as page 3, read the below post and gave up before I developed AIDS of the eyes. Riddick Bowe is my absolute favourite HW despite the unfulfilled potential so I had to go find a paper bag after this one.

Yes that is exactly what I would say. Oscar could hit but Bowe was a superior puncher as well as a better fighter overall. Point is you can cherry pick one or two fights out of a guy`s career but it doesn't always work out that way.

yep.. i watched holyfield-bowe 1 recently. holyfield could definitely back bowe up any time he wanted to at all.. he did it over and over again. the problem for holyfield was that bowe could consistently throw/land shots while moving backwards (like he did when he dropped holyfield in their third fight)! not just a lennox lewis type uppercut while moving backwards.. but full on combinations while in step! golota found that out, too.. the more aggressive he got, the more hell he caught.

i hate to say it, but bowe stops an aggressive frazier.

Agreed, Joe would grind away and he hit harder than Holyfield. If Bowe managed to knock him down he wouldn't stay there.

Joe Frazier was a man. Not to take anything from Riddick, but Frazier was a strong warrior minimum, and Bowe was lacking that something. Frazier in 13 rounds.
